I'm out of room to store my dvd's, so I go to the locsl blockbuster store that's going out of business & purchase 3 of their large shelves for $100. How cool is that.  Along with a few DVD's. I'm trying to hit 1500 by year end.  Its nice to know I'm not the only one out there that loves watching & collecting movies.

Humans can become addicted to anything, I wonder if addictions of collecting DVDs is closer to a gambling or sex a addiction.

I just picked them up last weekend. I couldn't get them until the stored closed. So now I have to dust them off and wipe them down (very dusty).  I'll take pics and post this weekend.

Here are pics of the shelves. The individual one houses my blu-ray collection and the double sided one houses a majority of my DVD's. I have about 7 cases full of DVD's.

Seems you'll be running out of shelf-space very soon.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yeah i noticed that after I placed all of them on the shelves.  I'll have to think of something else before the end of the year. I'll probably have them filled by then..

Thank you for sharing with us, Sir.

One question, as the images are a little unsharp:

What are the white labels for?

If I would be her, it would be labels with the collection number from DVDP. Would be the easiest way to find the right disc, if it would be sorted just by number.

But I'm also interested for what they're real.

I wish I had though of this when my local Hollywood Video went out of business.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I number my collection based on the collection number from DVD profiler.
