| Posted: | | | | I ordered The Walking Dead Season 2 on Saturday with overnight delivery. I knew it would not be shipped until Tuesday because of the weekend and holiday. I tracked my order this morning (Wednesday) and it is scheduled to be delivered on Friday. I guess overnight delivery doesn't really mean delivery the next day to Deepdiscount.com. |

| Posted: | | | | If anyone can find a phone number for Deepdiscount.com, please post it here. I have searched their website and I cannot find a phone number on their site. I have sent them an email, but I would really like to express my displeasure with them via phone. |

| Posted: | | | | I knew better than to order from Deepdiscount, but I did it anyway. I ordered Buffy the Vampire Slayer complete collection back in 2007 and it came all broken up. Now I pay for overnight and they ship regular. I call them and they agreed to refund my shipping charges. I will have to check my card account to make sure that they did.
If I had known that they ship FedEx, I would have ordered elsewhere. FedEx is the worst delivery service in my area. I have problems with FedEx everytime something is shipped to me via FedEx. When it gets dark, they return to their distribution center whether they have finished their route or not. So if you have ordered something overnight and they have not gotten to your house and it gets dark, you don't get it overnight. I was told this by a FedEx csr. She also said if they put the item on a truck for delivery it counts as an attempt to deliver whether it is delivered or not. |

| Posted: | | | | DeepDiscount sucks when it comes to anything regarding costumer service. They listed a phone number years ago, probably fired anybody that knew how to use a phone.
Years ago I used to order a number of DVDs from them, second to Amazon, but their service has gotten progressively poorer and poorer with the passing years. I'll gladly pay a little more for good costumer service.
I would never order from them if the DVD's distributor had a history of an occasional bad DVD, because I don't know if you could ever get a return order processed.
I once tried to cancel an order, they replied that the order was being processed, but the DVD wasn't due to be release for another month. You figure? I had an order outstanding so long that the credit card date expired. I emailed to change the date, they replied to cancel the order and reorder, (the price had increased), as they had no means to change the date of an order. Their email service resulted in sending me a link that didn't work. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | Yeah, I've had problems with them. Last time I ordered, probably 2 years ago, I got a DVD and there was something wrong with it (can't remember what) and was assured via e-mail a replacement would be sent. Nothing came despite numerous e-mails. Really lame. |

| Posted: | | | | I ordered a lot from them in the past. Then about 2 or 3 years ago the management/owner changed and their service dropped in quality and their prices went up. Even their famous sales they had twice a year stopped (they still have sales, but far less attractive than in the past). I occasionally still check prices with them, but usually Amazon comes out on top. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | You guys need to order from JB's www.jbhifionline.com.au , they'll ship overseas really quick. True, you are all going to end up with region 4 or B discs but then that will mean more titles already in the database for when I get my copies. (fx: ducks and runs for cover...........) |

| Posted: | | | | I've never really had any big problems with Deep Discount over the years. Their free shipping used to be slow as a turtle, but it's been arriving quite fast in the last year and now you get tracking numbers.
I've never used overnight shipping from them though... | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I used to order every DVD and CD I bought online from Deep Discount DVD. They were somehow connected with Collector's Choice, who made special DVDs and CDs of TV shows, films, and albums no one else offered and mailed a catalog every month. If you ordered through the catalog or on line at Collector's Choice, the cost was fair. But all the same DVDs and CDs were available at a discount from Deep Discount DVD. Then they changed to Deep Discount and started offering books and other merchandise similar to what Amazon was doing. And their prices rose to higher than Amazon, and their delivery got slower and slower and their customer service seemed to disappear. Then they started selling items they did not have in stock... they would go back order for months, and sometimes would never show up. They added the feature of charging you for your order, not when they shipped the item but the day after you ordered it. You had to attempt to try to get a refund on unshipped back ordered items. I gave up. I had ordered more than $20,000 worth of CDs and DVDs from them, and the selection was getting poorer and the prices and service were in inverse quality... higher prices with non-existent service. If thier service and quality and prices are back to what they were ten years ago, I might try them out again, but the reaction here appears mixed at best. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I've only ordered from them a few times when they had a buy one get one free sale on TV series.
I didn't order overnight delivery but I don't remember any problems. |
