I can understand the trial period, and that goodguy wants to be paid for his effort. I'm not sure it's worth $13 to me, personally. But the limitation to the number of profiles you can review in the trial doesn't make any sense to me. I was going to at least give the new version a try. Now I'm losing interest in even doing that. I'm not saying this to complain exactly. I just wanted to point out that you may want to change this for the trial. I think you'd see better sales if folks had 30 unfettered days to get hooked on your plugin. In any event, best wishes. | | | "I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. In any event, best wishes. Although it doesn't matter to me as I already purchased the new version, I do think the limited profile review per session is kinda overkill, especially for folks with large collections. I'm getting up to 50 profiles a day that I have to review because of all these media publisher and overview updates. It would be a huge pain to have to close DVD Profiler after reviewing so many profiles and have to Refresh Updated Profiles again, and again, and again. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

I think that for those of us with big collections, $13 for this add-on is a great deal. That being said, I also thing that the limits in the trail version are a bit tight. Now if Ken Cole could just come up with a way that I could throw him $13! pdf | | | Paul Francis San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA |

| Posted: | | | | I have a question about registering Matthias. I have Profiler installed on my work computer and on my home computer. Looking at your registration system, it would appear that I would have to purchase two different registration keys since I probably have two different user keys. Do you have a work-around for this or are we expected to purchase separate keys? | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

I was about to buy a registration but I'll leave it if I have to pay for 3. | | | Stuart |

So you only need one license. Same for Gadgeteer. If there are any problems with the registration key (there shouldn't), we can sort it out via PM or email. | | | Matthias | | | Last edited: by goodguy |

Not sure I follow. Of course, you can't contribute them, but then you don't use PCP to contribute, you use it to accept (or not) incoming updates. And if you have a custom genre and accept an update, it gets overwritten. Same for custom roles. Hiding these differences would IMHO result in accidental updates. If you see the difference, you will more likely switch to partial acceptance and exclude these sections from an update. | | | Matthias |

| Posted: | | | | I should have expected it, I suppose, but something significant must have changed with version 3.5.1 f Profiler because PCP won't open with it. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? A custom case is a special build for a certain release, while a custom role is a role I entered myself.
Also the translations of the Production CoO and the SRP Currency Type aren't used by the comparison skin. Could you comment on the issues I mentioned above? | | | Martin Zuidervliet

"Custom" for custom roles is used by DVD Profiler in both XML and HEADER_VARS. PCP uses the original and/or translated name as provided by DVD Profiler. The CoO is not translated, because DVD Profiler does not provide the translated value if the skin is in comparison mode; it does so only in normal mode. The SRP currency name is never translated by DVD Profiler, regardless of the skin being in normal or comparison mode. Long story short, the plugin uses translated values where available. There is nothing I can do in the cases you described. | | | Matthias |
