| Posted: | | | | Quoting Addicted2DVD: Quote: for some reason I have at least one profile that does not seem to be working... It was fine the other day when I switched it to sub-galleries... but now all I get is a blank blue background with no images and no text what so ever.
I am sure the code is fine... I have it as.. <gallery=8?2=0&5=1:6&6=7>
any thoughts? I don't know, but have you tried the F5 (refresh) key? Or, closing the Gallery window and then putting it back? (View->HTML windows->Gallery)? | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, indeed! Great work, xyrano! Thanks for all your time. I hope I am not entirely mistaken, but I found yesterday, that with the new code you don't have to define the total quantity anymore; I believe even when just using "Image Gallery". So, <gallery=?1=1:10> seemed to work for me. I also found that it seems that you don't have to define anymore whethere your images start count at 0 or 1; the range description after the question mark takes very well care of that. I now I have approx. 270 gallery folders to convert from the old to the new format; "luckily" some only consist of one image (poster or title screen). | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Its fully backwards compatible so I'm only changing ones where I have movie posters and want these to show separately. | | | Paul |

I had it typed, but deleted it ; shouldn't have done that.... Of course by "old format" I meant DVD Profiler 2.x, so all my gallery folders still have shortened UPCs... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. So do yours open in IE? What do you do when the image is bigger than your screen? Resize the source file? Yes, they open in IE from the Gallery Viewer script. I'd resize the source file (outside DVD Profiler). Navigate to source file (Windows Explorer) -> Right click on source file -> Select "Open with". |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Guys, not sure when this occurred but have updated the machine to Vista but cannot remember if this has worked since loading 1.6 version of GV. I am using tags and everything was ok. Now just getting no images displayed. Link off the title works fine to folder but no images. If tag not set the No Gallery available message is showing. No sure how to diagnose this.
I have no sub-catagories just images starting at 01 and folders without locality.
Any ideas ? |

| Posted: | | | | Dear,
Do you save your database/galleries in 'My Documents' folder. If yes, the folder's path isn't the same. I don't know if the code use a complete path or an relative path. Maybe you should check this in your settings. | | | Regards Cyrille |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, the path is absolute. Look for the gsl variable in the script and update that to the new Vista 'My Documents' path, should enable images again. |
