| Posted: | | | | It works great for me Matthais. Fortunately I have ~35 updates to go through, so I'm really getting a chance to play with it. And I love it. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Because I already updated my profiles I tried with Menu "Online" --> Refresh DVD Form Invelos --> preview changes and I get this:
Initializing... Due to a bug in DVD Profiler, the HEADER_VARS generated for this profile contain a syntax error and a comparison is not possible. Please choose another Preview to compare the profiles. | Posted: | | | | Does it matter which profile you try this with? Or do you only get the error on certain profiles? If so, which ones? I've just tried it (running XP) and I get the normal "no differences detected" message. |

Please choose another Preview to compare the profiles. As the error message says, this is a bug in DVD Profiler that may affect some profiles. The typical reason are quote chars (") in either a studio name or in the location and slot fields for discs. DVDProfiler does not escape them properly when generating HEADER_VARS for the skin. | | | Matthias |

only one possible bug to report: the links to contributers / notes are defaulting to IE when my computers default browser is Firefox... any idea on that one? | | | -JoN |

As the preview essentially is an IE window, links are to be expected to open in the same browser app as the one that contained the link. If there is high interest in this, I could re-route them through the plugin to the default browser, but, frankly, I don't see the point. I'm also still juggling with ideas to incorporate the contribution notes into the preview, or only the last one, or whatever. Technically, neither of this is a problem, but I still have to find a design idea that is simple and elegant. | | | Matthias |
