| Posted: | | | | I don't know how old 19.5 years would be in "cat" years, but it sounds like a long time. I'm sure she had a good life and is now in a better place, like Rainbow Bridge that Rick mentioned. My sympathy goes out to you. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. 19.5 years is a very long time for a cat... (if dog years are anything to go by it's something like 130 human years...). I am sure you gave her a great home and served her well. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

I believe I got the link below from someone on this site. I had never read it before but it touched me as I'm sure it will anyone who truly cares for their pets.

| Posted: | | | | My thanks to each and every one of you. It is much appreciated.
To those of you who still miss a loved one, my thoughts are with you too. I share the grief and while I know it never goes away, I hope it eases with time as I am hoping mine will. There is a hole in my heart, and life, where she resides that can never be completely closed. This hole is next to the one where Merry-Li, who died around 5 years ago now, resides. | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline |

| Posted: | | | | That's really sad. We had to take 2 cats in this year. One for cancer and one for diabetes. So I know what you're going through. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | I've been there. With a cat we had back in the 90s, we waited a little too long in going to the vet and the suffering was terrible. I hope your loved one did not go through much pain.
Rick's "Rainbow Bridge" had me tearing up but good.
No lol cats for this thread please. |
