Sad news, my thoughts are with his family and friends.

... and just think where DVDP would be without him... if we had no barcodes to scan would mean a lot more work for some of us and he was the man who invented them!

Has anyone else noticed that the very first episode of the half-hour version of Secret Agent, called Danger Man in the U.S., featured the location of The Prisoner?

Memorable also as Disney's version of Dr. Christopher Syn, pirate, vicar and smuggler boss. Not to mention The Phantom père.

RIP Patrick McGoohan

In answer to question about the half hour series of Danger Man called that in Britain and Australia the location of Portmeirion was used a number of times and also was used in Doctor Who: The Masque of Mandragora.

Also I am watching the hour Danger Man at the moment.

If you want to see powerhouse acting see McGoohan in:
Brand: World Theatre
Production Year: 1959
DVD Release: Jul 28, 2003
UPC: 5-027626-219147
Locality: United Kingdom

I will also have to watch what I consider to be the Danger Man movie, Ice Station Zebra where he is to all intents and purpose "playing" John Drake!

My wife on hearing the news thought of the best idea to put on his tombstone.

'Be seeing you."

forgot you posted this before my message above.

And I had a very macabre thought. His death came closely after the news Peter Falk has Alzheimers.
When the two of them teamed up for a Colombo episode it was always miles above anything else in quality and acting.
