Same with The Amityville Horror
The Day the Earth Stood Still was released with the original version as well.
I think a good idea for a simular re-release should be The Little Shop of Horrors with the updated musical version AND the classic black & whie version with Jack Nicholson. | | | "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." - James Dean OneWayFilms.net |

The Magic Cloak of Oz (1914, 38 min.) His Majesty, The Scarecrow of Oz (1914, 59 min., written by Baum) The Wizard of Oz (1925, 72 min., Larry Semon) The Wizard of Oz (1933, 9 min., Ted Eshbaugh, animated Technicolor) It looks like The Wizard of Oz (1910) and The Wizard of Oz (1933) are both dropped in favour of The Dreamer of Oz (1990) and the MGM featurette. Seems a shame to drop such early productions for a biography and a studio featurette (particularly when one of the shorts is in Technicolor). I don't know why any content had to be dropped actually... Still, it's two feature length films and some shorts. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) | | | Last edited: by W0m6at |
