| Posted: | | | | I am running on the iPad 3, and it crashes often. While browsing on the iPad, and it crashes every time I try to sinc to my pc without fail. iPad says I have 860 in my collection and the pc has 800. It seems to be updating as the pc stays connected for minutes after the crash on the iPad. But, there is that discrepency of 60 that is troubling. |

| Posted: | | | | I've been using DVD profiler on my iPad 3 here since it was released and it's been crash free for me. I've been using DVD profiler on my iPhone for almost 2 years since DVD profiler first came out on iOS. I can't recall the last time it's ever crashed on me. I would assume it's some kind of database issue. I have around 800 DVDs HD DVDs and Blu-ray's in my collection. I sync my iPhone and my iPad regularly to my PC. I make sure to always back up my data base on my PC it's also backed up on Carbonite. If you do use a beta version of DVD profiler on your PC, save a version of your database someplace that won't get updated with the beta version of DVD profiler. Sometimes things will go screwy, especially when you try to sync it with other devices. |

| Posted: | | | | I have just purchased and added the latest IOS app. The sync worked fine; however, it continues to crash whilst viewing. This was both on my iPad and iPhone. There are some issues that need to be rectified. |

Perhaps someone can tell him it doesn't work like that. Having said that, I didn't have any problems with it on the ipod touch (and now that has broken so I'm with a android phone). So that's three versions of dvd profiler I've bought (and only one still working for me). | | | Paul |

So that's three versions of dvd profiler I've bought (and only one still working for me). Again I have zero crashes on my iphone and iPad!!! Ken doesn't update any of the programs very often!!! As far as I know it's just him working on them. Maybe he's been busy on a Android version?!?! It's one thing with the slow program updates, but what drives me nuts is lack of any news at all! You don't hear a single thing from Ken for months or years on end!!! Is it to much to ask for a little something, anything, once a month??? This is the real problem I have with DVD Profiler. Hell all you have to do is look on the main Invelos Web Page, in the News Section. It hasn't been updated since Feb 4th 2011. That's 14 months!!! If I didn't already own all 3 versions of DVD Profiler, I wouldn't buy it!!! I would think it's dead. No news at all is bad news. Like the software is DEAD and there's no support!!! What other so called Company acts like this??? Any other software you own on your PC, iOS device, Android or anything else act like this? I can think of one, Radar Active!!! (www.radaractive.com) good luck finding the almost dead forums. I remember the days years ago when there was new Beta versions of DVD Profiler coming out all the time. | | | Last edited: by JBDragon |

| Posted: | | | | The first beta version of DVDP 3.8. is now available. Among the many changes there is also this little nugget: "Improved stability of database sync with iOS and eliminated potential causes of database corruption during sync and/or database share operations". Maybe that will help those with syncing problems. But remember, it is still only a beta version. You might want to wait for the final release. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the update, Ken. Can we expect the iOS update around the time DVDP 3.8 goes final or is more work needed ? |

| Posted: | | | | Due to the sync changes, the desktop needs to be released before the iOS update. I expect to submit it for approval as close to the public release of 3.8 as possible. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Great. And 1.2 sounds like you changed more than the sync fixes. Looking forward to the release. |
