If I ever have rely on it as a backup, I would just giver up ever trying get the damn thing squared away and consistent. Every time I look at my db I find something wrong. Some entry I started on and got side tracked.
I thought the sort title was a personal thing, I would definitely not rely on some stuff I've seen in there. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. My sort titles are based on Original Title and that makes web page sorting a total mess. Actually, it uses 'Sort Title'. If you look at my collection, you will notice that I have all my Family Guy, Futurama and Simpsons profiles listed at the end. That's because, prior to us getting custom categories, I used to have my profiles sorted by type...Film at the top, TV at the bottom. I accomplished this by adding 'Zzz' to the beginning of the Sort Title. These are left over from that period. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Therefore my Sort Titles are also based on Original Title. Online collection only shows Title, so sorting them alphabetically gets weird results. For example: Title: Urhea Original Title: Brave Sort: Brave Guess where it is in my online collection, in the middle of B See my online collection. It's a mess. |
