| Posted: | | | | This would be much appreciated by me too and I* personally think it should be a priority for quick inclusion as this is the one bit of functionality which is most useful on first purchase (which means as soon after release as possible for a lot of us here) rather than being added later as it's most useful on first transfer of a lot of data. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | +1 from me, as well. I'm doing pretty well with the wifi connection, but I've had a couple of disconnects (I think because I tried to do something else on the phone at the same time) and I had to start all over. I'd like to have the option to transfer via USB so that it might be faster... and I would expect it would have a much more reliable connection.
But I am loving the app! I only found out about it yesterday, and immediately bought it. Been waiting SO LONG for this, and it's great! Thank you! :D <----me, being very happy. |

| Posted: | | | | Throw me in for good measure. I just found this app last night at 2am (after waiting YEARS for this!) and I'm currently downloading the data base for my modest 700+ DVD collection and it is SSLLLLOOOOOWWWWWW over wi-fi and 3G. The app works great (and was quicker to load and set up) on my ASUS TF300 tablet, I hope it works as well on my old Samsung Galaxy S. I would also like to be able to sync via USB or even just have the app allow me to search for a data base on my SD card to use. THAT would be awesome. I backup every so often and I name my backups with a date, it makes it easier to know how old it is. I'd also like to use the same database on each device. Keeps everything simple. |

Regardless, I LOVE THE PROGRAM... err, APP! I think a lot of the time required is converting the data format. The WiFi transfer is not the bottleneck as far as I can tell. To get better speed I think the PC version would have to be upgraded (or an add-on created) to do the heavy lifting on the PC, so that an Android ready version of the DB would just need to be copied over. | | | Tom. |

Yea--I'm trying to do mine over wi-fi with the phone right next to the router...Been trying for 3 days to get my 6000+ collection moved over...Crashes about every ten minutes..Doesn't seem to be very stable..I've been using PC and mobile for years without any problems..This one not so much. Would be nice to export from mobile version to sd card, then put the sd card into android and have the android version be able to open it.. |

While it sounds great in theory, there are those of us who never got USB sync to work fully with the unofficial app KitOliver had out a couple years ago. It wasn't for lack of effort or expertise. Android is CRANKY whenever you want it to talk over USB with Windows. Even my HTC Sync software just stopped working. No warning. I had to find a third party alternative to sync Outlook to my phone. That program runs over WiFi!! Best of luck asking for a USB sync. |

Best of luck asking for a USB sync. I had similar problems syncing my itunes music library over USB to my android phone, again the wifi works perfectly. | | | Paul |
