The iOS to PC sync doesn't need to be fixed, it works fine and is all I use.  If you could tell us what the issue is, maybe one of us could help you solve it.

- The two connect
- it downloads a few entries
- the desktop version freezes, taking windows explorer along with it
- three finger salute
- restart desktop version
- "database needs to be rebuilt"
- and back to step one

I have 386 entries in total. 5 are custom entries.

Here's what I've been able to find on my iOS device.  So far I have been able to add as many custom titles as I want as long as I specify a value in the UPC number field.  However, I can only add one custom title with the No UPC flag set to ON.  If I add a second custom title with the No UPC flag set to ON then it replaces the previous one.  When viewing the custom title, which has the No UPC flag set to ON, the ID shows up as "Custom #0".

EDIT: This seems to be an issue with the Android version of DVD Profiler as well.  You can only have one custom entry with No UPC set to On.

Have you tried a database repair on the DVD Profiler for PC side?  If that still doesn't resolve the issue, have you tried backing up your database and then restoring the backup to a new database on the PC?

Yes, and yes.

Just tried on a Windows8 machine (first one was windows 7).  It doesn't freeze on that one, but it only downloaded the custom entries before saying "complete". And the ios app protested a few times before that (can not connect to desktop application, cancel or try again).

re: custom entries
The UPC thing was the problem. I checked the previous custom entries, and they had a number in that field, though I have no idea from where. Thanks for solving that, though.
