| Posted: | | | | Regarding Oldies I strongly suspect that the company was named thus because it started with selling music, mainly oldies. Then it branced out, so now it's probably as big in DVDs and BDs. But they also sell other stuff, like books, magazines, tshirts and collectibles. They have a limited line of books and magazines, but they carry a lot of movie related items. I bought the book "From Silicone to the Silver Screen" about the making of the original 1958 Blob. Adding it to a DVD order only upped the postage with two bucks, which was considerably less that if I had bought it from the author, which was the only other place I found that carried it. I have also bought several movie magazines through them, recently the 50th anniversary edition of Midnight Marquee, a hefty volume of 280 pages. They have lots of nifty tshirts, but unfortunately don't ship these outside of the US. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
