Just my opinion but I don't think there should be any threads in this forum that users can post in. I hate it when I see the new post icon lit up only to find it's not an announcement about the iPhone version...it's a rollercoaster of emotions |

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. | Posted: | | | | Note: As it may not be clear after the fact, the above posts were moderated since they called for action against a specific user. The moderator comment explains that the additional action they were requesting is not as immediate as post editing as it requires the approval of a second moderator. | | | Last edited: by Forum Moderator |

| Posted: | | | | Could this thread please be locked so users cannot post in it? All other threads in this sub-forum are locked, so whenever I see the "Announcement" forum lit up I get excited for new program and/or feature announcements. Only to time and again be disappointed because a non-admin posted here.
I realize the irony of me probably having been cause for some other user having that reaction, but figured this was the best way to make the request. | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! My post brought no one out by name, was not attacking in any way (IMO) and was 100% in agreement with what Kathy said. There was a bit of sarcasm in it, though, I'll admit to that. . However, deleting it has such will no doubt lead to assumptions since no one can see the original post. That's not to say I don't understand why it was deleted, but your reply is a good example on why passive aggressive moderating doesn't really do anything in helping forum members know what is okay and what is not. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. I mean if its "legal" according to the forum rules to delete posts which do NOT violate the forum rules! I hope you understand - otherwise I'm lost in translation... | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |
