| Posted: | | | | On In late April IMDb changed their site layout for Soundtrack credits.
Unfortunately I didn't notice until now.
I will release a new version thwi evening.
If you value soundtrack credits you will have to audit your purchases since then (crew only) | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Here one feature that I would like to suggest:
After I have searched and found the desired title and I switch to the Film (or Television) tab, I would like to have the page scanned automatically. This should probably be an option in Settings, as I'm sure not everybody would want that. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Was there a change on the people's pages, too?
For some reason Mary Stuart Masterson just got a fake BY attached instead of her real one while parsing this movie:

| Posted: | | | | Parsing cast & crew is currently not working. I'm working on a new version already. Note: The new version will have an updated version of the IMDbToDVDProfilerCrewRoleTransformation.xml file, because IMDb restructured its music credits. If you use a personalized version of this file, please add this section before the last two lines of the file: Quote:
<CreditType> <IMDbCreditType>Music by</IMDbCreditType> <DVDProfilerCreditType>Music</DVDProfilerCreditType> <CreditSubtypeList> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype /> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>composer</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>music by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>music composed by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>score by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>score composed by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>song writer</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Song Writer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>theme by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Theme By</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>score</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Theme By</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype>score by</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Composer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> <CreditSubtype> <IMDbCreditSubtype StartsWith="true">composer: song</IMDbCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCreditSubtype>Song Writer</DVDProfilerCreditSubtype> <DVDProfilerCustomRole /> </CreditSubtype> </CreditSubtypeList> </CreditType>
Make sure the file ends with Quote:

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure what happened but I managed to split this actor into two entrys: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0199495/reference
One with a real BY and one with a fake BY that doesn't fit the actors imdb page number.
Is it possible that CCE2 doesn't recognize it is still the same person if a real BY is added to the imdb plus different imdb page of a person are merged (meaning the fake BY should have changed also)? |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, that's one of the drawbacks of the fake birth year. When IMDb merges actors, the old Id lives on, but when clicking on the link you get forwarded to the new Id. But you apparantly parsed the one page befoe it was merged, landing on an actor page without BY, subsequently getting a fake BY and later came across a title where the second Id was used and there was a BY, so you ended up with two different entries. Take Rachel G. Fox for example, both these IDs end on the same page: http://akas.imdb.com/name/nm2134437/http://akas.imdb.com/name/nm0289200/For further information, check CheckForDuplicates_ReadMe.txt | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Hi. I posted this to the plugins page but thought I might have more luck here ...
I've been using Cast/Crew Edit 2 for years - probably not long after buying DVD Profiler - and it's a great piece of kit. But I've got a little problem ... I recently downloaded version 1.8.7.1. and while I can parse movies okay, I'm having a no luck TV shows. When I open a show's page in the plugin's internal browser, click on the 'TV show' tab then scan the page, I get a 'parsing complete' message. But when I click 'search episodes' - whether for a single season, more than one season, or all seasons of the show - a message pops up: 'Episode list is missing! No episodes have been found. Please rescan the page.' Am I doing something wrong here? I've tried different shows to make sure it wasn't an issue related to one in particular. Any help with this would be most welcome ... |

| Posted: | | | | It seems that IMDb has changed something regarding birth years(?). When retrieving birth years, the progress bar goes ahead normally, as before, but when it finishes, no birth years are present on "Birth year" column on spread sheet.
If the following setting is unselected: "Take Birth Year from Local Person Cache", all birth years get replaced with blank (= clearing birth year from your cache).
Can anyone confirm this behaviour? If yes, any chance of a fix for this, DJ? | | | Mika I hate people who love me, and they hate me. (Bender Bending Rodriguez) |

Some layout flaws because IMDB made changes - all functions of the PlugIn work properly though. |
