My Thoughts:
I originally seen this movie on On Demand... and at that time I really didn't care for it. But when I got the chance to get a free copy of the movie I thought why not give it another chance. After all it does have Matthew Perry and Michelle Trachtenberg in it... and I usually enjoy the both of them. Well today I thought I would go ahead and bite the bullet and give it another go. Kind of a get it over with type thing. As it turns out I am glad I gave it a second chance. While it still not good enough to get onto my favorites list... it is better then I thought it was the first time I watched it. I was surprised when I found myself enjoying it this time. Still I would say it is no more then an average movie... but at least I am not sorry I have it in my collection... and I could even see myself watching it again at some point.

My Thoughts:

While an old story line, it kept me watching till the end.  The kids were even watching, till the end (young boys I'm sure for the robot fighting)  Surprising, my wife even enjoyed the movie.  Even though the plot and outcome were predictable, it still was an enjoyable movie to watch.

My Thoughts:
This one was a two night mini-series that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel. I never got to see this when it originally aired... so was very pleased when I found out a friend was giving it to me. It is in a set of 2 mini-series along with Merlin's Apprentice. Which I also missed when it originally aired... so was twice as thrilled. Especially since I remember really enjoying Merlin. This isn't the normal disturb the tomb and you are cursed type of thing. They decided to go a completely different direction then that. While I can see how some may not like this... I enjoyed it quite a bit. I found it to be an interesting and entertaining way to spend almost 3 hours. It didn't feel that long while watching it! I tend to shy away from anything that is around 2hrs or longer... but this one was worth the time put into it. The storyline is interesting. The characters are likable. And the effects are pretty good as well. I really don't have anything here to complain about. Well, a couple extras would have been nice... but other then that... no complaints.

My Thoughts:
This is a movie I heard about a lot over the past several years. Many of my friends told me how good it is and how I had to see it. So when I got a copy in my latest package of DVDs I couldn't wait to check it out. While it isn't a bad movie... I would even go as far as saying it is a good movie... but I think I went into it with a little too high of expectations. I definitely enjoyed it... was a fun way to waste an hour and a half... I don't see what all the fuss was about. My favorite character of the movie was Jenny played by Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Mercy). While I did get a few chuckles out of it... there really wasn't any laugh out loud moments in it for me. Don't take it wrong... the movie is definitely worth seeing. Just don't make the same mistake I did and go into it with too high of expectations.

My Thoughts: The newest movie of the Buddies saga.  My wife requested that I buy it, so the girls could watch it (At least this is what she said ).  While the kids did enjoy it, my wife did also.  I personally think that the "Buddies" have been overdone.  The dialogue in this movie seemed stilted, especially among the human characters.  The writers(director) seems to put a lot of emphasis on the animals for the "cute" factor, but the work seemed to stop with that.

My opinion, young children will enjoy this movie, and possibly mothers and grandmothers who see it through the eyes of the children.  As far as a quality movie, this sorely missed the mark.

Here is a movie i didnt know what to think of, in the first place.. People had told me so much about this, and it took me a long time before i watched it. But man did i enjoy it! Very good movie actually, and Will Smith does a good part too. (I'm a big fan of his work) Done a lot of great movies! A little different movie, but still very good! I would reccomand it to everyone =)

My Thoughts:
This is one my brother rented from Netflix and I wanted to watch before sending it back. The original Fright Night has always been one of my favorite vampire movies. And as most of you already know... I love my vampire movies. And I did enjoy this one... but I definitely prefer the original. This one changed a lot of things compared to the original... but unfortunately some of the things they changed is things I really liked about the original. But then other things they changed was pretty cool. One of the things I really didn't care for is that they made the Peter Vincent character to be a Criss Angel wannabe. Which put me off a bit at first... but then he grew on me within the last 20min of the movie. Over-all I would say it is worth seeing... and I would like to eventually add it to my collection.

My Thoughts:
I am basically familiar with Ed Wood by reputation only. I only have one of his movies in my collection. That being Plan 9 from Outer Space. Despite the little I know of him... or maybe because of the little I know of him... I was looking forward to checking out this movie. A nice coincidence here... I been watching episodes of Medium and this movie also has Patricia Arquette in it. I really didn't know what to expect going into this movie. Whether it would be something I like or not. I ended up finding it oddly captivating. I found that I enjoyed it quite a bit. I normally shy away from anything that is about 2hrs or more in length. As I really need to be in the mood to be able to sit still that long. But in the case of Ed Wood the 2+ hours seemed to fly by! I was actually surprised when it was over already.

The DVD itself is nicely done as well. Lots of fun extras here. And I must admit... I got a kick out of the animated menus they used for this one. All in all a very nice release of a fun movie I wasn't sure if I would like or not. Definitely a pleasant surprise.
