Will keep the both of you informed. I found the problem! The bad news I won't be able to get a fix up until Thursday or Friday. The good news is your collection has Star Trek IV with no media type set. If you give it a media type, everything should start working for you. And it was a real pain to track down! Thought it would take 5 minutes. Still, the plug-in will be better now for having figured it out, so it's all good. I'll put up a fix later in the week. But that's your problem. Guess it would be helpful to also write a new query to find these. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Well, good for you Mark. Note to Ken.....media type should be mandatory. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Mark.
Strange, I thought it had a media type. I'm sure I checked that VHS box thingy in the custom collection.
Again a big thanks to you | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

| Posted: | | | | I tested while it was in beta for this very case. I couldn't find a way to NOT have a media type, so I didn't worry about that case. Not sure how you did it, but the next version will be fixed for any new people coming along. That's the important part. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | Hi Mark, 2.2 seems to have a problem with custom genres (which 1.5 hadn't) Running 2.2 (loading Cast&Crew) I get several error messages about unreadable profiles (only thing they have in common is a custom genre) it ends with an "Invalid OleAut Date". After this 2.2 seems to run normally.
EDIT: Database Repair didn't bring any improvement | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I don't use custom genres. But I'll add some for testing and see if I can reproduce this. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure what the problem is with custom genres. With the current plugin I was able to reproduce the problem. When I ran it in the debugger, it went away. It seems the latest version of the plug-in (which hasn't been released yet) fixes the problem. It must have been related to one of the bugs fixed since version 2.2.
Look for version 2.3 either later tonight or tomorrow. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Still does not work. I made a database with just one profile: MarieAntoinette. That one profile has custom genre Historiallinen. If genre is removed, Database Query works. |

| Posted: | | | | One of you will have to send me a backup. And if it's that database with just a single profile, that would be awesome! But a full backup (minus photos) is fine too.
Scratch that. I've put up version 2.4. Give it a try and see if it works better. If not, then send me a back. But I think this one should fix the problem. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |
