| Posted: | | | | Started messing with this today. neat tool. looking around, I was hoping there was a to bulk modify a column to shift say collection numbers. Something else I found odd was the selection of what to load. I always see to get some extra selections. Using the space bar to select items from the menu, and not being about to tick off check box. Been have some fun correction the 60 disks loaded up so far -R |

Sorry but my feeble brain is totally clueless. Could you help me by being more specific? What "extra selections"? And the spce bar comment: I'm not sure what you mean. (Edit: Ok, I see. Well I never used the space bar to select check boxes before, so I didn't even test that. My code does not support it. Sorry. Please use the mouse.) Regarding shifting collection numbers, I believe you can do that with Regular Expressions. There is a Regex processor built into Multi-Copy (Tool#4). There are also some collection number manipulation options in DVD Profiler main program. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. I have to select everything using the space bar :/

| Posted: | | | | Ok, petered around more with it, I have to double or triple click to get a check box to select.
Something else I noticed in sorting.
I have a selection with slot numbers from 60 to 110 but the way it sorts is:
100 101 blah 60 61 blah 99
Just found that kind of odd.

-R I was forced do the double click when I put in the ability to drag and drop the fields to reorder the output. timing is tricky depending on your mouse settings. The Slot field in DVD Profiler is actually a text field. You are not restricted to numeric entry, so I don't do a numeric sort. Maybe I should have a menu option so the user can force it. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | Once you have selected the fields you want to display you need to LOAD -> Then select the type of loading you want ( flagged, or collection list etc ) Then tell it to over write current sheet Start editing, ALWAY BACK UP you DB -Robert |

| Posted: | | | | @RobAGD Thanks Rob for the quick help. BTW did you discover the "pad with zeros" context menu item to force the slot column to sort correctly? I think I forgot to mention it when you posted the sort problem.
@Rageru If you are new to DVD Profiler, my suggestion would be to give the program a real good workout before you start using plugins. Plugins usually arise from requests for features that Invelos has not yet put into the product, but the product also adds features over time.
Even experienced users are constantly finding things they didn't know existed in the product, so I would ecourage you to really get to know the product before assuming that you need a plugin to do something. My apologies if you already knew all that, and welcome to the community! | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | Hi, I am in the process of creating episode profiles for my TV series, which means creating lots of manual profiles. I now I can use your great plugin (many thanks for it!) to create 1 manual profile at a time, is there also the possibility to create a bunch of them? Many thanks Uwe | | | |

| Posted: | | | | Hey you made my day. Let me count the ways: (there are 4 - wait for them all, as I will incrementally update this post to try and avoid the Invelos edit error) (1) Flag one or more profiles, then use Collection\Flagged\Clone To Manual (2) Flag one or more profiles with lots of discs, then use Collection\Flagged\Clone Children from DiscIDs (3) Create one or more manual profiles, flag them, then Collection\Flagged\Clone to manual. Do it again and get 2x, again = 4X, etc. You will large numbers of profiles fast. (4) Use BulkEdit Load XML and Validate. It will load just about all of an official DVD Profiler exported XML Collection. But it will also load a minimal version, where you can either specify Manual IDs, or BulkEdit will create them for you. Here is a minimal 1-DVD, 1-disc collection: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> <!--DVD Profiler Collection Export--> <Collection> <DVD> <ID>M000168</ID> <MediaTypes> <DVD>true</DVD> <HDDVD>false</HDDVD> <BluRay>false</BluRay> </MediaTypes> <CollectionType>Owned</CollectionType> <Title>Dummy Title 2</Title> <Discs> <Disc> <DescriptionSideA>Main Feature</DescriptionSideA> <DescriptionSideB/><DiscIDSideA/><DiscIDSideB/> <LabelSideA/><LabelSideB/> <DualLayeredSideA>true</DualLayeredSideA> <DualLayeredSideB>false</DualLayeredSideB> <DualSided>false</DualSided> <Location/><Slot/> </Disc> </Discs> <CountAs>1</CountAs> <Notes>Some notes</Notes> </DVD> </Collection> If you don't know how already, Mithi can show you how to create this XML from anything, such as a CSV file, using XSLT. (5) I lied. Ther is another way in the works. BulkEdit CSV import has been nearly re-written and is sitting on the shelf for completion and testing. Maybe you shouldn't wait for it though ... I'm not so naive as to think these are the only ways - just the ones that come to mind using BulkEdit. DVD Profiler has so many features, we might be overlooking sometthing else that is in the product. If so, somebody will tell us soon. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
