My Thoughts:

I felt like watching the sequel... but before doing so I wanted to re-watch the original film as it has been a good 3 or 4 years since I seen it last and really didn't remember too much about it. Only really remembered that I enjoyed it. Sure... this movie wasn't perfect... but what it was... it was a whole lot of fun and it looked awesome! And I think that is what I liked the most about this movie. While I did like the story... the effects were just great and a whole lot of fun to watch. It is funny... when it comes to Nicholas Cage... I either like him in something or I just hate him. I don't know why. When I first heard he was doing this I thought well there goes any chance of this movie being any good. But I was really wrong... I found I liked him a lot in this role. I also really enjoyed Sam Elliot in his role.

My Thoughts:

This is my first chance of watching this film. It is one I was excited to see since I enjoyed the first one so much. I was maybe even a little too excited to see it.... hoping that I wasn't expecting too much and setting myself up for disappointment. I found that I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I think I enjoyed it just as much as the first part. The first one is a little longer then this one. But this one didn't need to be as long... it didn't have to tell the origin story. While I have heard some people say this one wasn't as good as the first part.... I also heard (even more) people say if you liked the first one... you will like this one as well. And those are the people I find myself agreeing with. I am blanking out on his name already... but I liked the character that could make anything (or anyone) decay with a simple touch. I am not familiar with the comics... so not sure if he is a character from them... but I wouldn't be surprised if he is.

Over-all... I have to recommend this one. Especially if you enjoyed the first one.

My Thoughts:
Just one thing to say really. And thats PERFECT! Its the first time i rewatch it in the extended blu-ray version. Just wow, what they have to done with it. The amazing picture quality and the amazing sound! Just perfect! And for the movie itself, its just so good, from the beautiful scenery, from the story. And let not forget the amazin special efects they have in their movies. Everything is just so perfectly done and very well thought trough. I just love it. But the extended movies last about 4 hours, so its a long time for a movie. But well worth it IMO. I thought it was one time to rewatch them now, since the Hobbit are coming to the theaters in a while. And its ofc recommanded on the highest for everyone to watch the LOTR!
So now the quastion is, shall i start on the number 2? hehe

Well, its just a perfect filmseries.. Nothing much else to say about it really. Just what they have done with it, is just amazing! (I know they have used a lot of money on it) but still. Its amazing what they have been able to make really. The sceenery, the special efects. The editing, the filming. The acting, and the story. Just wow! But 4 hours is 4 hours. Its not just a movie that i put on when i want to see a movie, since its lasting so long. But its well worth my 4 hours, when i finally did it. I havent seen the 3 yet i think. So i'm looking forward to that. Maby i'll get around to that one tomorrow or this week maby

My Thoughts:
I didnt have any excpectations going in to this movie at all. I saw the trailer way back, and i liked the trailer. And the movie itself is an good ol' action movie. The storyline\plot is interesting aswell. A girl with only one thing on her mind. Revenge, nothing i havent seen before, but i actually enjoyed what they did with the movie. It had me glued to the tv for the 1.40hrs it lasted. And allright action movie, with no so many twist unfortunatly. But still a movie that i really enjoyed. And i would recommand it
And some of the acting was actullay not too bad either. And thats always a plus. As i said before, a good ol' action movie that you should check out.

I think this is the last movie i'm going to watch, before i leave on a 1 week vacation on Monday! :D

Extras:

My Thoughts:
Well, with both Jason Statham and Robert De Niro in the leads (i tought) it had to be a great action movie. I mean Mr.Statham is himself in all his movies, an action hero.. The movie is based on a true story, wich made the movie more interesting. The movie was a bit different then i expected it to be, it was a bit much military for me taste (for a actionflick) but i enjoyed anyways.. But there is a few things i would like to see more of in this movie was f.ex Robert De Niro get some more screentime, he didnt have a big part in the movie as far as the screentime goes. I wish he would be more on. And the story catched me in a good way. But you kinda knew how the movie would end, before it ended. But take those things away, it was a good movie. With some good parts here and there. A movie that i recommand you guys to watch. But i would not call it a "regual action flick" but a mix between that and a military\war movie. Interesting enough

Well, going in to this movie i had no expectations at all. Hadnt heard much about this movie at all. Didnt know what to think or expect. But i was very suprised by it, in a very positive way! It was nice to see Robert De Niro almost back as the "oldschool De Niro" but just almost. Something in between i would say. But i really liked him in this movie. I think he did a great part. So did the others in this movie. (IMO) The story was very interesting i think, and you didnt know half trough the movie how it would. Wich is always a good thing! You had to pay attention trough out. A lot of car chases, gun shootings.. A really good oldschool action flick i would say. A movie that i recommand you guys to check out, if you havent done it yet. And the movie is from the late 90's. And the blu-ray version have amazing sound and picture quality on it. They did a great job there. But they could have done more with the extras if you ask me. But yeah, a really good movie IMO

Extras:
Bonus Trailers

My Thoughts:
As i've said before, when i've reviewed other Varg Veum movies, (its one of the best movieseries made in Norway. If not the best) Its a crime\drama movie series, about Varg Veum (a private detective, who makes his living by solving those cases, no one else wants. And he lives a bit on the edge with both the law. And others) Its a movie series maby of by the books of Gunnar Staalesen! And in every movie its ofc a new case, with some twists here and there. Its been made 12 movies in the series, and this was the last and final movie in the series (so, they says anyways) I've really enjoyed the movieseries. One of my favourites. What they have done with 'so little' if i can say that is just amazing. And the main character played by Trond Espen Seim has done amazing things with the movie series. Really good quality if you ask me. Solid movies here.. For all the Norwegians out there, i highly recommand Varg Veum, for the people who hasnt checked it out yet! Sad to see it finished. But 12 really good movies!

My Rating:
5/6

I will give the total 12 movies  a solid 5/6.

Ray must get to the bottom of this as both the mob and cops start to close in on him as their target suspect.

My Thoughts:
Well, it looked like an interesting movie. A few ok actors in it aswell, and Dave Bautista had the lead role in the movie. (he's a former WWE superstar. And since i'm a big fan of WWE, it got my attention.) But what can i say about this 'action flick' as they called it. Well, It started of ok, but it went downhill very quick. The storyline wasnt interesting enough for me, its been a million times before. And they didnt pull it off. The movie was very slow aswell, and you kinda knew after 15minutes in the movie who was the real bad guy in the movie. (boring) And i hoped with all the known actors they would do something good with it. And i hoped Batista would impress me too, but for me they dropped the ball on this one!

I agree, great series.

I have only the first 6 in the series from Mhz Networks Home Entertainment
Region 1 with English subtitles, and hopefully they will complete the series.

Oh, cool Sreh! I didnt know that.. That it was only popular etc in Norway\Scandinavia. Cool!
And the 6 last movies in the series, is just awesome. I really like all the 12 movies, but i think the last 6 is the best movies in the series. And i know the 6 last movies was\is very popular here in Norway..
So i both hope and think that if you got the first 6, you will get the last 6 aswell
