My Thoughts:
This one i got recommanded to me aswell, and in this one too was Jen Aniston! Wich is never a bad thing imo. (and she's kinda hot too!) But over to the movie. The movie had an interesting story for a comedy, wich worked out ok sometimes but the story was a bit too long. The story wasnt that fun always, (they tried, but failed some places) But the movie made me laugh a few times. Some of the lines they had was real funny, but then again some of the lines was just not working at all. Seemed out of place. All in all, an ok comedy that you could watch. Not a bad comedy, but i guess with those names on your list. They could have done a better job IMO. But still an ok movie, that made me laugh a few times!

My Thoughts:
So this is the first movie in a movieseries about a journalist that is writing or are in middle of a murdercase. And her job wants her to pruisut the story ofcourse. But the way she does things isnt always good, she can get a bit too close to stuff she shouldnt. And she put her nose where it doesnt belong at all. And she uses methods that isnt quite legal, to just to get a story. And sometimes that can be very dangerous, and even cost people their life.. She have to becareful so she doesnt end up hurt or even killed. But other than that, this was a movieset i kinda blind bought. But this movie was actually good IMO, had a good mix with drama\crime and a good deal of suspence really. I liked what they have done with this Swedish filmseries so far. I'm looking forward to check out the rest of them too! After 1 movie, i recommand you scandy's out there to check out that one atleast!

My Thoughts:
Haha! I'm not going to write too much about this one. Just a few quick words.. Let me just start with what a great follow up this one was! It started in kinda the same way as the first one did. And after that all kinda went "downhill" for the 4 buddys. What a hilarious movie! A bit on the edge sometimes, but it just fit perfect with the rest of the storyline! I havent laughed that movie from a movie in a very long time! And what an amazing job the crew did with this! Everything from the music to the lines. Just awesome! This was a hilarious and great way to spend 1.4hours! And for the people that have watched the first one, and not this. JUST HAVE TO! And there's been talk about a movie number 3! God i hope so! Would be interesting to see how they would play that one out! Highly recommand anyways! Great fun!

My Thoughts:

Since my brother is watching many of these with me this weekend I let him pick the first movie for us to watch. This was his pick. It is part of the Mills Creek boxset Combat Pack: 20 Movie Pack. Going into it I thought at least he picked one I never seen before. And then I noticed that Shemp Howard (The Three Stooges) is in it. Giving me some hope for some funny scenes. And that it did have... I caught myself laughing out loud on more then one occasion. It definitely had more music then what I would have liked. But knowing it has such a short running time helped me get through the music scenes without as much trouble. Plus the non-music scenes made for an enjoyable film. For being part of a Mills Creek set... it has surprisingly good quality... no complaints at all quality-wise. Over-all I enjoyed this one... I am surprised to say I can see myself watching this one again.

My Thoughts:

My brother and I just finished watching this one. I found it to be a pretty cute... and fun film. Though it is a bit overly heavy on the music. But I shouldn't be surprised what with the film being a little on the long side. For me the saving grace of this film had to be Dick Van Dyke... but I have been a fan of his for many years now. I can see how this film has become such a classic over the years... even if it won't be that special to me personally. Don't get me wrong... I did enjoy it and can see myself watching it again... but it isn't something I could watch very often. Through-out the beginning of the movie I was trying to figure out just what Mary Poppins is... a good witch?... a fairy god mother?... guardian angel?... what? Then I finally came to the conclusion that this movie took place in a world where magic is a very real thing. Or did I somehow miss some big reveal? Over-all I would say this is a fun classic musical that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.

Title: Madagascar
Year: 2011
Director:
Rating: NR
Length: 174 Min.
Video: Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio: Engelsk: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo
Subtitles: Engelsk

Stars:
David Attenborough

Plot:
Madagascar - The Land Where Evolution Ran Wild

An astonishing series revealing the extraordinary wildlife and dramatic landscapes of one of the world's most bizarre islands. Lying just off the coast of Africa, Madagascar is a land of misty mountains, tropcal rainforest and weird spiny desert scrub. Here the wildlife has evolved in splendid isolation to become strange and totally unique.

The series caputires, sometimes for the first time, the diverse and rare wildlife that inhabits this incredible land. It features amazing footage of lemurs - a monkey-like group of creatures made up of 100 different species unique to the island - but also reveals frogs that turn from brown to bright yellow, wasps that pluck tadpoles from tree-nests and fish that swim upside down, as well as following the romantic life of the world's tiniest chameleon. Madagascar is an ambitious and intimate portrait of a fascinating but perilously fragile island - one of the few places left on Earth where there are still wildlife mysteries waiting to be discovered.

My Thoughts:
Ah, this documentary i got real cheap at one of the local stores. And for me it looked quite interesting.
I do like the animal\wildlife documentary's. And this is one of the best i've seen so far actually. Its a few real good storys about the Madagascar wildlife and nature. And the beautiful scenery aswell. And the teller in this doc, did a great job IMO. A very interesting docu, and i found it amazing with the things i learned. Its a great documentary about the animals, the nature and how they survive in a place like that really. This is a great documentary by BBC EARTH, that i recommand everyone that like or are interested in those kind of movies\docus. IMO

My Thoughts:

This one I have seen bits and pieces of before... as it was one of my late wife's favorites. So watching it today was a little bitter-sweet for  me. But this is the first time I seen it in from beginning to end. This is probably my least favorite of what I watched this weekend so far. Not that it is a bad story... just not quite as good as the previous ones I have watched. I have to admit.. after watching this film I have a new found respect for Jennifer Grey. Not only was she good in the part... but she looked good doing it. And she is someone I never found particularly attractive before. As you can see above... this edition of the film has a rather good selection of extras.

My Thoughts:
Going in to this movie, i didnt know what to expect really, except what i've seen on trailers and what people had been telling me. And i'm a big fan of both the original Spiderman movies and comics. So me and my younger brother just checked it out. And i got to say that i really loved it. Loved what they did with it, liked how they kept the story kinda fresh with new people and "a bit different" story, but still it reminded us\me of the first movie. And i really liked the changes too, with the badguy etc. And of course the makeup and special efects crew did one amazing job! This was a great and refreshing movie IMO. A movie that i recommand you all to check out! Really good one. If they decide to make a new series, i would watch the 2nd and 3rd movie aswell. Based on what i saw tonight.

My Thoughts:

I couldn't even make it through this garbage. My brother and I tried to watch it... but I ended up turning off after about 20 minutes. And to be honest I am surprised I got as far into it as I did. I know there is a lot of fans of this type of show... but I am definitely not one of them. I found this to be no more then an offensive waste of a film. I personally hated the unneeded offensive language that was every other word even more then all of the music in  it. Matter of fact I hated it so much that I gave the DVD away as soon as I pulled it out of the player. At least I know now that I wouldn't like the series. Not that I am really surprised by the things I have heard about the show in the past. But I found it to be even worse then I ever heard.

Title: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax - The Big 4 - Live from Sofia, Bulgaria

Subtitles: Engelsk, Fransk, Japansk, Portugisisk, Spansk, Tysk

Stars:
MetallicaJames Hetfield

Plot:
When the “Big Four”, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, shared a stage together on June 22nd 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria, the show was beamed live into over 550 theatres worldwide via satellite in a special HD cinematic event. These four legendary acts broke out of the underground thrash movement in the 1980’s to dominate the metal world, selling millions of records and packing arenas across the globe. Despite huge demand, these musical giants had never shared the same stage. The legendary June 22nd 2010 concert from the tour’s stop of the Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria aired the same day in 79 movie theaters in the U.K, over 450 theaters in over 140 markets in the U.S., as well as being beamed into theaters in Europe, Canada, Latin America, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. In December 2009, the bands announced that they would be joining forces to take part in the traveling Sonisphere Festival for only 7 shows across Europe. This one-time only event from the Sofia show made it possible for fans far and wide to participate in what otherwise was a very limited run of dates. Lars Ulrich of Metallica says of this historic show, "Who would have thought that more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal's Big Four would not only still be around, be more popular than ever, playing shows together at stadiums all over Europe, and on top of that, coming to a movie theater near you in High Definition (for better or worse??!!). Bring it on!" Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian says “Damn, as if this Big 4 tour wasn't exciting enough now we get to be on the big screen worldwide! Metal at the movies, two big horns up! It is unbelievably gratifying that this means so much to the metal community around the globe. Get your tix, grab some popcorn and get ready to bang your head!” Declares Slayer’s Kerry King, “I can’t believe someone didn’t make this happen 15 years ago! The fans finally get what they want. I think it’s awesome!” Says Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, “The magnitude of this event hasn't really sunk in yet, and I am thrilled to know that people around the planet will be able to walk into a movie theatre and experience the greatest line up of Heavy Metal in the history of the world!”

My Thoughts:
Well, as a huge fan of heavy metal, and music in general. This was a movie i knew i had to get, when i heard of it. And holy shiitake mushroom for a movie they have made here! Starts of real strong by Anthrax, and followed by Megadeath, Slayer and ofcourse Metallica finishes the show. And with all the Big 4 bands on the stage together. Wow, just amazing. Metallica is my favourite by all times, really love them. And i've seen some dvds with them before. But this is by far the best i've seen! And what a show they all make, just epic IMO. And the sound and picture quality is just amazing on this Blu-Ray set. They did a great job! It was a long concert, but man the time just fly's by. For me, i will defently watch this again and again! This for me is a must have for every metal fans out there! Couldnt recommand it higher!

My Thoughts:
This was a movie that got alot of attention here in my country beacuse of alot of reasons. A movie that i really wanted to see, and now i finally got the chance. And i just have to say that ever since i first saw Keira Knightley in the 'Pirates' movies i was a fan. This is a movie based on a true story (wich is always a plus in my book) A interesting story indeed, but again a twisted story. A story that i didnt know much about. But i have to say that i really enjoyed this movie, and i really liked what Keira Knightley did with her part in this one. Well done. Its a very good and strong movie, with some real good acting IMO. A movie that i recommand you guys to check out! And its was interesting to see how Freud was thinking about his subjects. I think everyone did a good job with this one. Check it out

My Thoughts:
So this is the second movie in the Liza Markelund books (a swedish writer) I watched the first movie a few weeks back (the Nobels Testamente) and i really liked it, and was looking forward to check this out. And i have to say that i liked this one better actually. It was a great follow up, they did a good job with buliding on the main charathers history, and you learn some more i think everytime about her. Great story wich had me guessing a few times who was the bad guy(s) etc. A real interesting movieset so far. With some good storys, allright acting so far. This a franchise that have 6 movies in it. Wich i'm looking forward to check out! This is so far a real good movieseries from Scandinavia wich i recommand you guys to check out! Looking forward to check out the number 3 in the series aswell! Hope that will atleast be as good as the first two.

Many of you wont prolly agree with me about this one. But actually enjoyed it! It was an documentary\behind the scenes from her world tour. From where it all started, and you get to see her on her first\biggest tour to date. A very interesting movie imo. Was nice to see where it all started and to learn something about the artist Katy Parry. This IMO is a good movie to watch for any music fan, specially the popmusic fans out there.

My Thoughts:
So this was a movie\docu that i was looking real forward to watch. I remember when NWO and Hulk Hogan was the badguys in wrestling. And i actually found that quite interesting. And now they've finally made a documentary about the 'NWO' group. I remember i saw a short documentary about that a few years back. So i was interested to see what they had done with this one. And to be honest, even though it was a good movie\docuset, i was a bit dissapointed in what they had done this time around. Alot of old inteviews from the first docu they've made. Some interviews was as old as 2002! 10 years. So i those spots they could have done a better job IMO. And they could have done something new aswell, a few things in the story was the exact same as the old one. Not very original there. But the extras, the blu-ray specials was good. And there was a few good matches aswell!  And even tho' i expected maby a bit more of this one (after its hype) its still a good docu\movie. A must have\watch for any wrestling fans out there IMO!  But if you have seen the first movieset about NWO, dont expect too much different in this one. Execpt some of the matches, and blu-ray specs.

My Thoughts:
So, i've watched the 3rd movie in this movieseries of 6 movies. And i have to say that for each movie i love it even more. Like what they do with the story, and how they continue to build the main charcters and bring back the same team each time. The story in this movie was interesting aswell. Had me guessing a few times, on who did what etc. I like the story so far with the 3 movies i've seen so far. A very good movieset that i really like so far. For me i highly recommand you guys to check out this movieset. And from the first movie and up till now, it seems like the story's and what happens and getting darker. Wich is interesting. And the actors\actresses is doing a allright job too.
Looking forward to check the rest of the movies out aswell! Anyone else watched them btw?
