| Posted: | | | | After I finished my own database with Cast/Crew Edit 2 I wanted to check if everything went as expected since I was constantly improving the program while working with it. Thus I written a small add-on if you will that checks the data of DVD Profiler against what's in the Cast/Crew Edit 2 cache file. This way it's also possible to find Birth Years that have been added while downloading profiles but aren't in the Cache file - which can lead to inconsistencies. Check out (and beware of my lengthy names ) Compare DVD Profiler XML and Cast/Crew Edit 2 Cache | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Fantastic. I was thinking of how best to do this w/o actually going through and re-doing all of the profiles again with the latest iteration of your awesome program. Many thanks So, we export our DB to xml then run this new app against it, correct ? I saw you had a "check for duplicates in cache" program also. Guess I missed that one before | | | Last edited: by Sparkss |

| Posted: | | | | Just when I think this program can't get any better... I have not tested it (or even upgraded from 3.51 yet), but does the latest beta use the same xml import format as 3.51 (making it possible to use the same format to add cast/crew to a profile in 3.6) ? Thanks |

It's basically the same and should work but as soon as 3.6 becomes final, all my tools will switch to the new XML format(s) (with the new fields they contain) and I will release a new version. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Where does the program store it's settings? Somehow it wants to put everything in a /data/data/data folder, and in settings I can't change it. Not even when I select the browse button to point it to a other location. I (de-) installed the plugin, but it keeps pointing to the same wrong directory. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

Check the Windows registry under Key: HKEY_Current_User\Software\Doena Soft.\CastCrewEdit2 Entry: DataRoot If you remove that entry then the program will look into the "Data" folder in the directory where you put the CastCrewEdit2.exe. | Posted: | | | | Thanks. Yes, that does help.
I was looking for something called 'Doena', but couldn't find anything. Trying this.
Thanks. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

| Posted: | | | | Karsten, I do get no trivia data with Cast/Crew Edit 2 for some time now. Checkbox is ticked, but trivia field stays empty on titles which have trivia available in the IMDB. Any suggestions?
Again, thanks for your great plugins. |

Again, thanks for your great plugins. Thx. Since I don't personally use that feature I didn't notice it stopped working. New version is available here. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
