| Posted: | | | | I apologize for that, but I didn't see a link to download. When I went to digital download everything had expired, so I figured I had to reorder. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

That's OK. It just gets me confused when I think I am making it easy, but somehow it isn't. I forgot to renew the expiration date. And somehow I thought I had attached the file to the email, so there was no link required. Anyway, now that you have you got it, did it work? | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | BirthYearCheck: The Final Chapter.Oh, promises, promises. Well, I think I can at least guarantee that you won't see BirthYearCheck Part 5: A New Beginning. Anyway, the reason for this update is two-fold. First, I realized that the Exclude fix from version 4.4 had somehow been unfixed (or, perish the thought, it was never really fixed at all). Now it is really fixed. Second, I realized that I have the short term memory of a goldfish. While using BirthYearCheck, when I selected Search title in IMDb and I had clicked on the correct title in the title list that came up, I hit ctrl-F to find the person I was looking for and ... I forgot who it was I was looking for. I had to switch back to the previous tab and check. Duh! I thought that it would be so much easier if the name could be searched automatically once I came to the cast/crew listing in IMDb. After implementing that search function, I went through my collection like butter on a hot tin roof. Or something. Maybe this is really the final chapter. So, I give you - ta daa! - BirthYearCheck 4.7 | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but the program has not worked for me since version 4.3. When I run version 4.4 or 4.7 (I did not download 4.5, 4.6), the program displays zero people, but when I run version 4.3, the program displays 888 people. I have not installed HTTPJollie on my PC and all BYC installations were based on the full installation files. As a further test, I used the smaller "4.7.0 update" and copied those files (3 in number) to the version 4.3 program files, and the result was negative, zero people displayed. A penny for your thoughts. | | | Last edited: by ObiKen |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks to the help from ObiKen I have found and corrected the problem. So here is BirthYearCheck 4.7.1 - The Even Finaller Fixeder Chapter! And a PS to all: You really should check out mediadogg's HTTPJolie plugin if you haven't already done so. It really improves many of my tools! Especially BirthYearCheck. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | BirthYearCheck 4.7.2Well, here's another update. There are two main reasons for this. - I realized that changing sort order made hidden rows visible again, so I had to change how this was done. - There was an update for the browser component, CEFSharp, that indicated that the old version could have security issues. Apart from that, since I had to update the program anyway, I added the possibility to configure what DVD Profiler's Main Window Title is - in case you're using a translation that has changed that title. I also changed some functions that used the Windows API so they use AutoIT instead. AutoIT functions are probably just wrappers for the API, but they're easier to use so they hopefully work just as good or better. PS. I toyed with the idea of headlining this with "BirthYearCheck 4.7.2: Jason Lives" just to tie in to "The Final Chapter" from version 4.7.0. Or perhaps even "Json lives". But since there are no changes to how I use json in this version, it seemed a bit too farfetched. If I had thought about it from the beginning, I could have named the exclusion file "Voorhees.json". And I could have released that version on Friday the 13th. I like little jokes like that. But that's just 20/20 hindsight now ... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
