| Posted: | | | | But the real answer is true - I really don't remember. And did you confirm that the search provided the information you needed? That would be interesting to know if you actually got what you asked for. I did try to provide it. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | I have just done another search using the same terms you did "loaddvd default" and it bought up 9 items.
3 of those 9 have the words "loaddvd" and "default" in them. 2 of those posts are from me.
1 post with the first line reading "loaddvd V2.31 Available" talks about a/v automation. There is a bit about the 'ply' option.
Is that what you were suggesting? I find no other references.
Look, i understand that there is nothing i can say or ask that will be received well. I don't understand why but .. I get it. As another user said in response to a different question (actually paraphrasing .. ) "Just use it as it is". So I will.
To answer your question, no i don't think that i did but that is okay.
Please no response is needed and none will be given. I will stop bother you.
thank you David |

| Posted: | | | | Strange response. I would have given you the link, but I am typing on my Xoom and I find it difficult to copy / paste using the screen keyboard. When I did the search, the answer was in the first post. Of course, since we had an active conversation going, your search would also pull up those additional recent posts following my search. Didn't you think about that before trying to "prove" that the information was difficult or impossible to find ... ? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Quote: Thanks for the answer. "file" is on both and either using disc="01" or disc=01 doesn't work as well. Of course you know I meant "02" for disc 2, etc., ....
Hello this is what I did without success:
[filepath disc="01"]I:\21\21 CD1.mkv[/filepath] [filepath disc="02"]I:\21\21 CD2.mkv[/filepath]
both discs have "file" word in the location field
bye All perfectly done. It is a bug, sorry. Thanks for the detective work. Since I can't see the code now, I don't know if it is a parsing error or a logic error. If it is a parsing error, you might want to try the alternate coding of the file path, which uses HTML. I think there is an example near the top of this thread. Otherwise I will try to get it fixed ASAP when I get back. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! P.S. The HTML code worked greatly Well I'm back and have confirmed the bug you reported. It is due to recent changes that unfortunately I did not test well enough. | Posted: | | | | Jim, got this the other night, wasn't using anything to do with the program at the time, just looking at profiles. I have had a few pop ups, I'll try to screen cap them for you. -Robert |

| Posted: | | | | "The other night" means that you were not using the latest version, hence the issue is moot until or unless you get the same error with V2.32. Please do not send me any reports or screen caps on obsolete releases. V2.31 has been withdrawn due to known severe bugs in the menu system. | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Jim you are right, but then again it had nothing to do with the issue the other user reported and I would have also thought you recalled I am using 2.24 Pro on a fresh system install ( Windows 7 64b )
Try not to be so abrasive, I'll repost this to the Load DVD Pro if that suits you.

| Posted: | | | | LoadDVD V2.32 Available
- Fixes recently introduced bugs in the menu handling for Filepath - Version 2.31 withdrawn
I will refrain from putting any more functions into LoadDVD until the menu bugs are sorted out. At that point, I will also bring LoadDVD Pro up to the same code base.
So, I will appreciate any reports on this new release - either bugs or confirmation that previous bugs are fixed. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | USBIRT no longer Transmits LoadDVD Commands
Should have known; if it ain't broke, don't fix it... I had been happily using an older version of DVD Profiler and LoadDVD (for which I happily made a donation for the use of this gem) for a couple of years. I finally quit ignoring suggestions to upgrade, and I downloaded 3.8.1. I also uninstalled and downloaded LoadDVD 2.3.4. Now, everything seems fine, EXCEPT that my USBIRT device is no longer transmitting when I try to Play / Retreive Disc.
I run Vista on my HTPC, and all is up-to-date. I want to, and used to, use LoadDVD to drive my single CS-995V using a USB UIRT. After the installations, I checked the LoadDVD Options; they were (strangely?) unchanged from the old settings. When I click the Button, a Command box opens and pauses, and closes on a keystroke. No tranmission is visible (IR/LED flash), and the deck receives no commands. I tried a neat little gizmo that I found, irnhelper, to verify that the USB UIRT works otherwise via Vista; it does.
I've now spent three days reading this forum, uninstalling / re-installing, changing versions, modifying options, and otherwise beating my head against the wall. Has this happened to anyone else? Do the symptoms ring a bell? Any guidelines that I haven't seen on how to debug this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

| Posted: | | | | I'm really sorry that happened. Your options staying the same was not strange. I try hard to not break stuff on updates, but alas it sometimes happens. Ideas: (1) From your description, your options might have "Alternate IR" selected. It should have defaulted to Off, but maybe somehow it got changed. This is a new feature, and I intended to set it so that it would default to not being used.
(2) Double check your location / slot values - just to make sure.
Let me know ... I'll try to think of a good way to diagnose the problem if it wasn't either of the above. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |
