I couldn't sleep last night so ended up watching a few movies. I started with this one as I have always liked Drew Barrymore. And this one was no exception. I enjoyed this film quite a bit. I really liked all the characters and the film flowed well. This is actually a film I never even heard of before seeing it on the library shelf. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it. I recommend checking it out.

This is another one I borrowed from the library. I thought they did a very good job on this one. Lots of great action... and I really liked Rose McGowan in this film.  Loved her finger knives. Though she did look a little freaky in it... but freaky in a cool way. This is one that I hope I will be able to add to my collection before too long.

Another one I borrowed from the library. But this one didn't impress me all that much. While it did have a moment or two for the most part I found myself just waiting for it to be over. When I picked this one up at the library yesterday I thought it was one I never seen before. But it turns out I did see it. Not sure where... probably either through Netflix or on cable. I grabbed it because of Katherine Heigl... as I been a fan of hers since her Roswell days. She was also great on Grey's Anatomy. I really enjoyed this one quite a bit. I found the storyline to be entertaining... and thought everyone in it did a good job. If you never seen this one before I recommend checking it out.

So, i've had this in my unwatched pile for quite a while now. And today some friends asked me if we could watch it. And i actually dont remember if i've seen it before or not. Didnt remember much from it anyways. But it was a cute movie tho, with a cute story. Even tho you know from the start how the movie will end. But they made it work IMHO. And the sound and picture was amazing again. Looking forward to check out Cars 2. Recommanded!

My Thoughts:
Well, this was one was a complete blind buy. Hadnt heard about it or anything. The only reason i bought this was the big names in it. And it starts of real good and strong. But after 30 minutes in, the movie starts to slow down. And after that most of the things goes a bit to slow for my taste. I can appreciate what they tried to do with the movie but with that great cast i think they could just have done a bit more. But even with that being said, the movie had its moments here and there. Just not the greatest movie i've seen. I guess if you find it for a cheap penny, check it out. If not, skip it.

My Thoughts:
So, this movie got alot of hype in the Norwegian media. And here in Norway its a "bigtime movie" with alot of big Norwegian names in it. And its based on a true story about the start of our oil and gas adventure in Norway. And they put us trough a real interesting and intense story! And it was real cool to see how it "all started" and the big names in the movie did a good job aswell. Thats not always the case in some of the Norwegian movies. But this was great from start to finish. I highly recommand you Norwegians out there to watch it. Or if you just like a good intense suspence\thriller you should check it out. And for a rather cheap prize you get some real good extras too!

My Thoughts:
I bought this only because of Sandra Bullock. And the movie was listed as a action comedy. But i would say they are trying to make a comedy. The story was allright actually. And i have to say it was nice to see Sandra Bullock again. But Melissa McCarthy i've seen her in some movies lately but she playes almost the same characters in all of her movies. That is getting old fast for me. But it was a bit to far between the laughs in this one for a real good comedy. But they had some moments here and there. For me Sandra Bullock saved the movie really. And the bloopers in the extras. I dont know if this is recommanded or not actually. Its avrage

Plot:
A CULT CLASSIC OF GOOEY GREATNESS, The Blob follows the havoc wreaked on a small town by an outer-space monster with neither soul nor vertebrae, with Steve McQueen playing a rebel teenager who tries to warn the residents about the jellylike invader. Strong performances and ingenious special effects help The Blob transcend the schlock sci-fi and youth delinquency genres from which it originates. Made outside of Hollywood by a maverick film distributor and a crew whose credits mostly comprised religious and educational shorts, The Blob helped launch the careers of McQueen and composer Burt Bacharach, whose bouncy title song is just one of this film's many unexpected pleasures.

My Thoughts:

While I have seen the remake several times... this is the first time I have gotten to see the original. And I must say, I enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely prefer this one over the remake. I never realized till now that the original was in color. All these years I thought t was a B&W film. Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet I recommend this one. I watched a friend's copy... so hoping to add it to my collection before too long.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
