Good news (I think!) - no, it doesn't work. I get the following error message: "Run-time error '-2147023782 (8007045a)': Automation error A dynamic link library (DLL) initialisation routine failed. |

I registered both the scrrun.dll and msxml3.dll files from the locations you suggested, and now both of your programs seem to be running smoothly. Much appreciated. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi there Tom. I got my awards working just fine. But when i change the layout from "A to B" and then back to A i have to load again the db and the awards txt. Is this the way the plug-in works or am I missing something? One other thing, a suggestion... it would be nice if an award symbol of any kind could be available on the general info tab near the Loan Status if a title as an award or nomination. | | | Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! |

| Posted: | | | | One other thing. How do you manage your awards for tv series. I have all 5 Seasons of Alias. On the original title i have Alias and i get on the awards tag the same awards for all seasons.
The same happens with the various Series I Have more than one season.
So how do you distinguish them? | | | Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! |

On the original title i have Alias and i get on the awards tag the same awards for all seasons. Are the production years filled in all sets? Also I check a range when comparing award year with production year. Award Year in [Production Year - 1; Production Year + 2]. This proved the most sufficient to guarantee to find the correct awards for a movie. As series season sets have the same name (series title) but have very close production year entries, leads to overlaps. FYI: You can leave season descriptors (i.e. you do not need to fill in original title only to have the series name without season descriptor). If no awards were found with the full title, the awards will be searched with an adjusted title, where everything after the first colon is cut off. For all: What do you say, that we agree on one way to enter series episodes? My Proposal: In Movie title field only the series name is put. The episode name is put as what is called in my award editor "Song Title". That means handle the episodes as currently the song entries are handled. In the final text export it would like this: Buffy the Vampire Slayer|||2003||Hugo Award|Dramatic Presentation, Short Form||"Chosen" The colon after the episode title tells my award window, that all what is before should be handled as a song title/episode title. Everything after it are normal nominee entries (persons). | | |
