| Posted: | | | | I sure have. The demo was short, but I believe it is to get everyone familiar with the control system. I loved this demo. I can't wait for the full game...and Lair is right around the corner! | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles | | | Last edited: by Ascended_Saiyan |

| Posted: | | | | Lair has been pushed back to Sept.4. The game has reportedly gone Gold already. I would expect Heavenly Sword to be pushed back a month to keep both games from butting heads.
E3 2007 Awards played out as follows...
Xbox 360 won 11 awards PS3 won 8 awards (not bad for being a year younger than the Xbox 360) Wii won 1 award
Apparently, Sony has signed an exclusive contract (some time ago) to develop a new franchise game. I wonder what it is. It could be that western type game shown at E3 2005. The title escapes me.
Check out L.A. Noire. Sorry, no links. I can't cut and paste on the PS3. | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |

| Posted: | | | | I'd love a well-written western themed game. The best one was Outlaws and it used sprite graphics. Gun was satisfactory. That Red hand something or other was a letdown. |

I'd say try the demo first as some people loved it (me being one) and some people hated it. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Xbox 360 is chaning their policy. Here is the article:
New Xbox 360 Games Will Require Hard Drive Model Microsoft changes policy, says MMO developers can require hard drive space for games. GamePro staff Wednesday, August 15, 2007 07:00 AM PDT Microsoft announced this week that it would soon allow developers of massive multiplayer online (MMO) games to require hard drive space when playing games on Xbox 360 despite the console maker's previous denial of such claims.
"Feel free to require 30GB for your game - [but] that's just going to make your potential audience a lot smaller," a Microsoft representative told a group of developers while speaking at GameFest.
Effective immediately, Microsoft will not restrict the amount of hard drive space MMO game developers can use. It is unclear if non-MMO games will be allowed to require hard drives when playing future games on 360.
An estimated 20 percent of 360 owners don't own a hard drive, which is optional for those only wanting to purchase the Core model.
Developers will be able to create a single "Master Storage File" on user machines so long as the server-based games illicitly state the amount of hard drive space required on the front of the game's box.
Microsoft also said the that it will not increase the allowable size of Xbox Live Arcade games which currently stand at 150 mb.
Just last week, Microsoft denied reports in an email to GamePro that Xbox 360 Core owners would be unable to play certain games labeled with the "hard drive required" sticker.
"Every game will work with every Xbox 360 system," a Microsoft spokesman told us. That no longer appears to be the case, at least with MMO games.
Well i think this is a good thing. The 360 should never have been offered with out a hard drive at least IMO. MS way of making the 360 hit the 299 price mark. Maybe this will drive the 120gb disk price down. |

| Posted: | | | | You can create your own 360 HD with any laptop hard drive but you have to jump through some hoops in order ot make the drive work on the 360. |

Maybe this will drive the 120gb disk price down. It's good news to Xbox 360 owners (except for the X360 Core owners). First, MS needs to cut the prices on the 20GB HDD before even thinking about the 120GB HDD. $100 for 20GB is insane. | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |

| Posted: | | | | Question for you AS, I bought a PS3, it came with 2 BDs, since then I've bought 1 more (can't find any other exclusives I want to buy).
If the PS3 is set to upscale DVDs (and does so pretty well), why can't it upscale the MPEG2 SD extras on a BD? My PS3 always outputs them at 480p? |
