Just what I was thinking.

But I'm glad we have Muckl around to fix it for us

Just one question. Sometimes I get trivia entries twice, but when I check on the notes it is inserted only once.
Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer.

That is because if it is from IMDB... you don't need it in notes any longer. The html window automatically pulls the trivia from them now!

Yep.
I think imdb often has many useless and uninteresting Trivia in it, so added to this thread just these which I thought were the best.

But until we've such a great Trivia window now, I'll also just post things in here which were from other sources, for not having doubled them up.

Indeed, and that is why trivia saved in the Notes is displayed in front of IMDb items

Sent to me through PM....

The Matrix:
Prisoner Reference
Anyone who was a big fan of the 60's TV show, The Prisoner, will see certain similarities between that and Neo's encounter with the architect. This is probably intentional since, in the first movie, an episode of the Prisoner (with Number 6 ever so appropriately meeting number 2) is playing in the background.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon:
If you have seen "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", pay attention to the fight between Neo and the Oracle's Chinese bodyguard. It has the same exact hits, shots and music of the first fight of CTHD (it is especially obvious when we see both men's legs almost like dancing). A tribute from the directors?

Psycho
When the Architect is talking about all the people that will die in Zion, there are clips from TV commercials and other movies on the screens beside/behind him. Among them is a famous black and white clip from Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film "Psycho".

101
At least three points in the movie the number 101 is shown:
- 101 was the apartment number of Neo in the first movie.
- the freeway race is on the 101 and the 303 (Neo-1, Trinity-3).
- 101 is also the number of the floor where the three have lunch with the Merovingian
The number 101 is the binary number for 5. 5 Matrixes have already passed and the current one is number 6.

Arion Salazar
When the dance starts at Zion, the camera zooms in to show two drummers. The one on the left is Arion Salazar, the bassist for Third Eye Blind.

The Code
The "code" in the matrix consists mainly of both Western numbers and the Japanese katakana writing (a Japanese script used especially for foreign words). Both were mirrored vertically.

Also from PM...

Dragon Ball / Dragon Ball Z anime

Movie Inspiration
Toriyama Akira, the author of the manga, admitted in an interview in Shounen Weekly Jump to being a huge Sci-fi movie fan and taking inspiration from movies for Dragon Ball:
- The 3rd form of Frieza is based on the appearance of an Alien in the Alien movies
- The androids are loosely based on the concept of the Terminator movies
- Android 8 (8-gou) is inspired by the monster of Frankenstein

Saiyuuki
Son Gokuu is based of the character of the same name in the Chinese classic tale Saiyuuki (Journey to the West). Elements that were ported over to the Son Gokuu of Dragon Ball include his monkey tail, his flying cloud (kintoun) and his expanding staff (Nioubou).

Thanks for posting Addicted2DVD. And also thanks to the submitter of this Trivias.

Don't know if you forgot or if it was your intend: On the other Trivias always a headline/tagline was included, this time not.
