Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.66:1 Audio: English: PCM: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: Stars:Matthew Perry as Ron Clark Ernie Hudson as Principal Turner Judith Buchan as Snowden School Principal Griffin Cork as Hadley Jerry Callaghan as Ron Clark Sr. James Dugan as Mr. Lively Plot:In an Emmy® and a Golden Globe® nominated effort, Matthew Perry (17 Again) delivers a "...tour-de-force performance" (Boston Herald) as real-life inspiration Ron Clark, a passionate and innovative teacher who leaves his small hometown to teach in one of Harlem's toughest schools. But to break through to his students, Clark must use unconventional methods, including his ground-breaking classroom rules, to drive them toward their greatest potential. Extras:Scene Access My Thoughts: This is one I just borrowed from the library. And I must say I really enjoyed every minute of it. But then I have always been partial to stories based on true events. I liked the characters... the storyline easily kept my interest. So much so that the time flew by... seemed like the film had just started when I suddenly saw the end credits come on. While this did have a few laughs in it... this is not a comedy film... so it was different for me to see Matthew Perry in such a serious role. But I can't complain... I think he did a great job. As did the entire cast really. This is one I never heard of before seeing it on the library shelf... but one I am more then comfortable recommending. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Featurettes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: I found this one to be entertaining... but a bit on the silly side. It is cute enough for what it is but I think the kids will get more fun out of this one then the adults. It is not a terrible film but there is definitely better animated films out there. A plus I feel this one has is that there really don't seem to be many films out there devoted to Thanksgiving so if you are anything like I am and enjoy having films to watch for every holiday season... you may need this one to help beef up your Thanksgiving collection. Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore, "Harry's Law"), E.G. Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers My Thoughts: Sure... this is definitely not an award winning film.... but I enjoyed it. It is a fun and silly movie. It felt like a fun twist on the film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Ed O'Neill was great as Dutch... and the kid was pretty good too. But when the child-killings resume two years later, Megan's return to the investigation also brings back her own horrific hallucinations. Even if she can prove a 'double initial' connection to the slayings, will she hang onto her sanity long enough to catch a psychopath? Cary Elwes ( SAW), Michael Ironside ( STARSHIP TROOPERS), Bill Mosely ( THE DEVIL'S REJECTS), Carl Lumbly ( ALIAS) and Acadamy Award winner Timothy Hutton co-star in this chilling thriller directed by Rob Schmidt. Extras:NONE My Thoughts: The first thing I notice when I put in this blu-ray disc is that it is the most sparse I ever seen a blu-ray. There isn't even a menu let alone any extras! As soon as you pop in the disc the movie starts... and when I press the menu button I get the message "No Menu Available." Even when the movie was over it didn't have a menu to go to.... it just started the movie over again in a loop. This really surprised me, as I always liked the extras we get with our films. But I sit here telling myself it is the movie that is important. Though still feel a bit down about it. The film itself...Well it seems this is another movie that I disagree with most reviewers on. When I decided to watch this movie I checked other reviews to see what others were saying about this movie. And I was surprised to see most people saying to skip this one. I personally enjoyed this one quite a bit. Loved Eliza Dushku in it... and found it to be a very interesting movie. Well worth the hour and a half I put into watching it. I also liked that this is based on a real serial killer. I would definitely recommend this one... though with caution after reading so many bad reviews. So I would recommend with that notation.
