You will experience serious errors using any function of DVDPca that attempts to modify a profile, which Invelos does not allow from the client of a remote database.
A future release will implement this restriction and remove the error situation. | | | Thanks for your support.

- Added code to supress update features when running on client of remote database
- Other Functions added or changed
- When updating an existing profile, no features are cleared, only new features added
- A warning is posted if AnyDVD is not running
- Disc label has been added to drive letter in drive dropdown
- Audio countries have been updated when running standalone
- When AnyDVD (or equivalent) is running, Surround flag is detected on BD discs. 2 Channel Stereo is changed to Dolby Surround.
Tip: DVD ISO images can be loaded into Virtual CloneDrive (or equivalent) and made available to DVDPca for analysis. | | | Thanks for your support.

- Improved accuracy in detecting available audio formats
- Various bug fixes and error recovery
- Updated to be consistent with current DVD Profiler naming for audio formats and industry naming conventions. In some cases a conversion is needed (I have even seen errors in some DVD metadata)
- Improved installation script automatically deletes old versions
- Plugin API updated to latest version
- Verified operation on Windows 10 and Net 4.0
- Use of DVDFab Passport is recognized in lieu of AnyDVD
Random testing with a bunch of DVDs and BluRays from my collection have indicated a high level of accuracy (based on visual check of the audio setup menu and/or Cyberlink PowerDVD).
Reminder: One of the advantages of DVDPca, is that it scans the entire disc, all folders, in order to scrape metadata required for a contribution. If you have a disc that is not yet in the Online database, DVDPca can actually build a starter profile in minutes. Some discs even have a bit of cast/crew information - rare, but I grab it, if I see it.
