It does appear to be working at the moment.

Dang! I didn't think this would ever be fixed! It took almost a year, but it seems to be working now!

Not very stably, though. It seems to fall down frequently.

What are your expectations?  Profile updates are only released once a day (around midnight Central Time). Attempting the refresh multiple times throughout the day will result in nothing being downloaded after the first time.

I have refreshed daily since it started working correctly again without issues.

No, it is unfortunately not true. You can tell the difference as follows: instead of rfereshing your collection completely in one step, hit "online/PROFILE REFRESH" (instead of "collection refresh"). When there are no updates, you simply get nothing. When the incremental refrsh fails, you get an error.
I tried a few minutes ago, it failed.

Are you referring to Online/Refresh DVD from Invelos/Refresh Profile Only? If so, that works as expected for me. Exactly what error do you see?

It says "premature end of file" or some such thing, I don't have the exact phrase now.

Try deleting the OnlineList.dod and OnlineListSel.dod files, restart, and try the download again.

Yes, the error message strongly suggests that this is a local issue, not a server issue.
Deleting these files is a good suggestion. Then can be found at %localappdata%\DVD Profiler .

I noticed a few days ago that the profile refresh seems to be working fine now, without the need for the CTRL key. Is this correct or is it not refreshing properly and just giving the impression it is?!

Yes, the incremental update is now working. It's been working now for approx. a month.

Is anyone else having trouble with the incremental updates again? I'm referring to "Refresh updated profiles from Invelos". The last 3 or 4 days it doesn't seem to be actually downloading anything for me. I seem to have gone back to the broken behavior it had for many months.

So I've had to once again do the method of "CTRL-Refresh Online Profile List" which does work to download the entire list. (Followed, as before, by "Refresh updated profiles from Invelos" to actually apply any updates to my collection).

Same but different. As far as I can see the reason for this does not seem to be the incremental updates but the fact that accepted profile updates stay in the "Approved" status. Looking at my contribution list, there are quite a few updates which should have been released yesterday and today but are not.
Bye,
Elwood

Yes, now that you mention it,  I have 2 new profiles that have been stuck in "Approved" since, I think, Monday.

The site did go down for a brief period on July 26th so I'm assuming that wouldn't have affected the pending contributions since mine were approved on the 28th. Guess we'll see if they eventually get kicked out when later approvals get released.
