Not sure if anyone is interested in this. I'm posting it here rather than in the Plugins forum since it is not specific to DVD Profiler. SlowStarter is a program that runs when Windows starts up, and it can start other programs with an optional delay. there are three possible reasons to use this: 1. You can autostart programs that do not have that option built in. 2. You can delay the start of the program in order to let other Windows startup functions finish first. 3. You can define the order in which the programs start (by using different delays) if that's important. I think that there are other programs that does things like this. This was just another case of "let's see if I can do this." Also, I wanted to be able to start DVD Profiler on Windows startup. I could have done that by hacking the registry directly with RegEdit, but where's the fun in that? Anyway, if you'd like to try it: SlowStarter 1.0 |
