| Posted: | | | | I have recently upgraded to Windows 11 Pro Insiders Preview. I was able to load DVD Profiler and restore my database. It seems that profiler has been functioning perfectly except for trying to backup my database. Every time I try to backup selecting Full Backup I get an error stating, Cannot open file M:\Profiler\dvdprofiler\ACTORASSGN.DAT. I select the check boxes for Send error report to Invelos and Include a screenshot of DVD Profiler, write a brief description, saying backing up database. And click ok to send and that fails saying HTTP error code: 87 and I click OK and it says Sorry, sending the message didn't work, with a OK button to click. |

| Posted: | | | | When you open DVD Profiler, rather than double clicking, right-click and Run as Administrator. See if that makes any difference. --------------- |

Hope to have a solution or at least an answer about it asap. Edit: So far so good, still backup in progress (backing up cover scans.. This will take a while). Indeed like mediadogg said, perhaps a repair of the database could fix this. I will report back when I do have some more information. Edit2: The backup has just been completed. Everything is fine. Some additional info on my system. Windows 11 (Dev 10.0.22449.1000) Pro has been cleanly installed as a VM, using VMware Workstation. DVD Profiler (4.0.0 build 1762) has been installed locally on that system. I did use my master DVDP DB of my primary machine via the folder sharing feature of VMware. To me, the issue looks DB-related and chances are true that this can be fixed when using the Database Repair Utility. | | | DVD Profiler for iOS since: January 9, 2011 (no longer using) DVD Profiler for Android since: June 6, 2013 | | | Last edited: by Hotm@iler |

| Posted: | | | | I have run the repair utility several times and still get the error. I have run the repair utility in admin mode still same error results.
I have just tried to run in compatibility mode and got the following error while trying to open profiler.
The following error occurred. Database errors my indicate a problem with one of the data files. We recommend you select the repair option via Tools->Options->Utilities. DSISAM Engine Error # 8965 Index page buffers corrupt in the table 'COLLECTION'.
After trying compatibilty mode it has messed up my database. Every disc i try to click on and look at gives the above error. |

| Posted: | | | | I just installed DVD Profiler in Windows 11 Home and was able to do a backup. Here's what I did. Did a clean install. Open DVD Profiler to the main window. Installed my license key. Using File:Open Database I opened my existing database file (not a backup) I then opened backup and browsed to where I wanted to put it and successfully did a full backup. |
