| Posted: | | | | So, how many of you, like me, have either updated or corrected profiles more than you used to, before 3.0 came out? And why did you do it? And, my answer? The first one! (With a touch of the third, I admit and a dash of the second ) | | | Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen] Ah... well you see.... I thought I'd say something more interesting... but cannot think of anything..... oh well And to those of you who have disabled viewing of these signature files "hello" (or not) Registered: July 27, 2004 |

| Posted: | | | | I update and fix the new errors on my discs locally (especially changing cover scans whose quality is not as high as before). I will begin resubmitting profiles when: (A) I get time, and (B) when the flurry of too quickly approved profiles calms down.
There is a plethora of titles that need improving. Myriads of titles change daily: thisaway, thataway, every which way.
At some point, the quantitiy of titles that I need to review will slow down significantly. I'll then look over my collection, correct the production years of many entries, submit decent scans, and begin again adding DVDs that I might be the only collector who has them.
Until then, I wait patiently, marvelling at the firestorm of activity, wishing it was a little more accurate. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | My main "bug" bear has been the crew corruption "BUG" which has meant I have a lot of titles that are in my db are stuffed and now require more work. By the same token it has allowed me to review some titles that I have not looked at for years, in terms of doing update work on them or even 'Heaven forbid' actually watch!? |

| Posted: | | | | I certainly did more update than before since I can't with the previous version (my previous computer was a piece of crap so it takes an eternity to work with the program).
I made some error, but I usually corect them when someone tell me so with a good reason. Like everyone I try to do the best I can, I have the rules always in front of me and refer to them anytime I'm not sure of something.
In facts my internet time is use almost entirellly for the work on my collection, submit the dvd not in the database and corect some little things on others that i've own. |

| Posted: | | | | more than before. the first thing i did was go through my entire database, clicking on the little arrow for updates, checking those, checking contributors if there arrow wasn't highlighted to see if the disc had been contributed yet...all the while updating coo's for everything--but not contributing if i hadn't gone through the rest of the profile. then i concentrated on discs that i had done the original submission for if they weren't in the database. i did these first for the simple reason that i was already familiar with them. some were some tv sets where each disc had it's own keepcase/upc and which required separating out the cast and adding the crew with the lovely new dividers. after the one's i knew i went into the ones that hadn't been contributed which need to be updated first. while all this was going on i was also checking for updates and removing special interest where it dinna belong. i still have more to do, but i'm tired, and i'm trying to consolidate some box sets into less space so i can put more stuff on the shelves so i've slowed down a bit. as for needing to see my name as the contributor, who cares. i saw some of my original profiles submitted by others, which is fine by me. i just want to see them added to the database. so, now we're done rambling on this one. krik | | | "Vampirism is still not a disease, Julia.
