I'm considering acquiring a inexpensive UPC scanner (probably handheld). And have a few questions.
Will any windows based UPC scanner work?
Are there some that don't work well?
What criteria do I use to select a scanner that will work with the current (ver 3) software?
Thanks

The cheaper ones are PS2 (which require you to have a PS2 keyboard attached to it to work properly. The more pricey ones are USB. I have been using one for years and love it. It doesn't work properly on some numeric barcodes, but works just fine with UPC's. |
