Yeah, I like that. Especially the automatically changing the data to Today() when moving from ordered to owned.

Yes, it should be optional. The way you describe is what I have to do today, when ever I use the Ordered and Wish List. I don't like going in to personalize to change the date for each profile    So I tend to not use those lists.

Maybe I got list with all those dates, but in the Wish List there is no date to be added... Only the Wish List preference.

A date is added when you add an item to the Owned or Ordered list. Should you move the item to the Wish List, that date (and the Purchase Location as well) is remembered though. So, when you move it back to Ordered/Owned later, it will present you that previously entered data.
