| Posted: | | | | is there a way to have box sets and their child profiles display more like they do in the program.
originally i didnt give the child profiles collection numbers since they display under the parent but when i uploaded it like this it threw my order out (i generally display by collection number since thats my shelf order) because those showed up as 0 if i left it blank or nothing if i checked no collection number.
the other possibilty is if there is a way to only have the parent of the box set or just the child of the box set display.
Also on a related note, how does that affect my dvd count? for example, would the star wars box set with appropriate child profiles be a count of 4 or 3?

If you are referring to the "Total DVDs" count above the profile list on the left then it wil count all profiles (as that is what the "Total DVDs" number actually is, total number of profiles). So, depending on your setup it seems to be 4; for most people it counts 5 though, as there is a profile for the Bonus Disc... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. For the first box set released, but those individual discs don't have UPC's on them. The tin that contains the theatrical releases of the trilogy does have UPC's on the individual movies and is only 3 discs, no bonus disc So I guess my best option is to use tags to be able to filter the sets and then be able to run a report that will give me my actual movie count having it exclude the box set container and then for the online just hope that its included in a future version -Agrare |

As I said above, the "Total DVDs" are actually profiles. I, as do many others, use the collection number to track the number of movies I have. (Still off by a few due to single-sided double features, but closer than the Total DVDs.) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

Could you use sort title and, say, put in 'Box set title 1", "Box set title 2" for the contents so they at least appear directly under the Box Set when ordered alpha? | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
