I recently purchased Ratatouille, and when I added it to my collection, the Covers Scans had 2 Fronts and no Back Image (when viewing the Back image, it was the Front, and not the Back).  I scanned in the Front and Back images and submitted them.  Currently, that contribution has 3 Yes votes and 22 No votes.  Why would there be so many No votes, when the existing Back Image is incorrect (it's the Front image, again)?  I'm just trying to comprehend the voting logic.  ;^)

Mike

P.S.  I'm not complaining, as most of my contributions are accepted.  But the votes are baffling me.

This isn't the right forum for this topic but....there are better scans than yours that have already been voted on.  Most of us expect them to be released in the next day or so.  Voting yes on yours will just muddy the waters.  Just relax and wait a couple more days.  If better scans do not come you can always resubmit.

I believe rorymatt has contributed the best images.  Why don't you check out some of the other submissions?

mdnitoil has it right and, if you look at all the comments, you will see that they all indicate the same sentiment.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

The scan of the front cover appears to have been cropped at the top by about 1/2 inch, removing the text "From The Creators Of Cars And The Incredibles".

Okay, thanks, mdnitoil (and Unicus69).

Why was the original contribution accepted when the Back Image was incorrect?

Mike

P.S.  Sorry for being in the wrong Forum.  Which one should I have been in?

You're right, greyghost, my scan was poorly cropped (aka lame).  I shouldn't attempt to contribute when I've been imbibing.  LOL!  But, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

Mike, another reason you are getting NO votes is that you scanned the keep case. Because Ratatouille has  an outer slip cover, by contribution rules, the scans should have been of it.
