| Posted: | | | | I think I am going to wait a week or so to work my profile updates. I had 90 something last night and I worked it down to 52. I just checked again and it is up to 386. I only have 547 in my database, so I am going to wait until things settle down so I won't be re-verifying what I have already re-verified. |

| Posted: | | | | I am just downloading them and only checking the ones that I have locks on. No way I'm going to check each one individually. There are better things to be doing in life! |

| Posted: | | | | If it makes you all feel better, I have 676 out of 857 to update. Of course I've not updated since before 2.5 was released. Yes, before 2.5 was released. On the other hand, it might not have been such a bad idea to wait. It sounds like I would have had a ton to go through anyway. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | The part that boggles my mind is quite a few of them are submissions I made. I am the only contributor so there are no differences between the update and what I already have. But I still have to look at them just to make sure. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I"m in the same boat Mark. I never went higher than 2.4, and last today downloaded all but 2 of my collection that are "new." Guess it's a good thing I don't have a job. |

Now that I've noticed that the import from 2.4/2.5 can seriously mess up the Crew listings I am considering waiting too. Hopefully 3.0.1 will allow import from 2.4/2.5 correctly and so all profiles can just be imported then uploaded without a risk of needing fixing... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

We're in the Wild West right now and it's going to be a while before the law takes hold. I'm not going to bother voting for the next week, since it will be too overwhelming. |

| Posted: | | | | I only have 408 out of 542 right now. I just wish when comparing my local profile with the online profile, it would show my local notes so I would not have to get out of the profile to see if I had checked this change in the past and rejected it. It would also be nice to be able to add to the notes from the compare screens so I would not have to jot it down and then enter the note after I got off the screen. |

| Posted: | | | | this is boggling my little grey cells... can someone tell me if there is a thread somewhere that says everything has to be resubmitted for updates. i realize that there are new tick boxes and info added, but i'm confused as to why i'm getting updates that simply say "new contribution" when the original profile has existed for years. forgive us for missing something somewhere. krik | | | "Vampirism is still not a disease, Julia. krik Invelos DVDProfiler 3.0 doesn't use the old database that Intervocative DVDProfiler used. When we started, there were only a few hundred titles in the DB DVDProfiler 3.0 uses. Now it's close to 3000. If we weren't doing this and you picked up a catalogue title, you would have to download that profile with the old program and export it to the new program. OTOH I'm usually not that much of a critic when it comes to titles on my wishlist. As I see it, when I do not own the DVD, I have no way of verifying if the contributed contribution is correct or not, so I usually vote neutral to them - unless the contribution is a better cover scan, ofcourse... | | | The future is here.
