| Posted: | | | | There is no regional coding for HD-DVD so Region 0 is fine but BD has three Regions: Region A Region B Region C Could these be added please? Many BDs are Region Free but many are not. Please see here for an explanation of the countries they cover: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray_Disc#Region_codesThanks. | | | Last edited: by bradavon |

| Posted: | | | | The current forum consensus seems to be to use Region 1 for Region A Region 2 for Region B Region 3 for Region C
as this fits fairly well and makes it easy to upgrade if/when Ken decides to implement separate regions for Blu-Ray.
That said, I fully support your request for adding BD regions. I think it has been requested before, but it doesn't hurt to ask again... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Makes sense. If Ken simply does convert 1,2,3 to A,B,C as and when, then no extra steps need be taken on the contribution side. If they don't, then the change would have to be made anyway, so as part of a larger update at least, changing the regions to 1/2/3 as appropriate right now makes sense. |
