If you mean another website that is data scraping and against Invelos rules.
The only place to get the Cast List is from the END CREDITS of the DVD.

Close that profile, then open the new one to edit cast. Right click in the cast space, and Paste. Voila. Don't just copy without confirming it's the same though, since there can be differences between regions and editions, or the original might be an impermissible IMDB clone.
If, however, you meant copy the cast from another website, then Snarbo is correct, it's data scraping and not permitted. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | snarbo & garibolt, please don't mix contribution issues with what one can do in one's local database. charro, it depends on from where you want to get the data. There is - for example - TomGaines's Cast&Crew Editor. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

Just in case you haven't found this, and for those searching the same issue later: - Download both profiles - Select the profile you want to copy from - Under the DVD drop down menu (Alt d) select copy - Select the profile you wish to copy to - Under the DVD drop down menu, select paste - A window will open allowing you to choose what items you want to copy, select cast (and any other elements).
Don't forget to remove the "source" profile from your collection
Hope this helps... |
