| Posted: | | | | I apologize if this topic has been brought up before, but I tried to find a solution to no avail.
I am unable to hide any titles from my personal collection when viewing the collection online. I tried a workaround where I changed the genre to "adult" and then chose the option to hide all adult titles online - nothing was hidden.
I am only wanting to display family friendly movies on my list that I can distribute to friends at church. Any advice? Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | Dear RipBU, First of all: welcome to the Asylum! What COULD be the cause of your problem is this: if you look at the place where you can change your display settings ( here) there are two places where you can change the adult settings: Show in Public Listing and Show in Private Listing. Now, if you uncheck Adult in the Public Listing only and then while still being logged in check your online collection, your Adult titles will still show. Try signing out from the Invelos site first and THEN check your online collection. Do you still see them or not? Hope this helps! | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | That works for titles that are in the online as "adult" titles, however you can't pick and choose what you want to show in the online collection by amending the profile details in your own database. I really wish Ken would fix this, as it seems to affects quite a few people, and it all worked fine over at Intervocative. Unfortunately currently the only way I can think of to do what you want is to maintain two databases, one for the titles you want on the website and one for the rest. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

I found that changing the "genre" category has no effect. But if you change the "Rating" to Adult, that seems to be the field/trigger that will hide titles online if you have the appropriate online settings. I wish there were another easy way to hide titles other than marking things as "adult" that really are not. |

So if I start typing "I feel connected....protected...." you'd know what I'm talking about? (Even with this new feature I don't think I could add my daughter's collection into my database...I have limits) |

| Posted: | | | | I seem to have the opposite problem in that I have titles I want to show online that aren't with the latest beta
for example Watchmen DC won't show neither does Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
My Profiler settings are:
Adult Definition - Adult Ratings only or Adult genre
These are the same settings I have on my other computer which is running the latest released version of Profiler and from there the titles upload. Is there something new / different with the new beta version which is stopping these titles being uploaded?
Neither of the above examples are rated "Adult" or have Adult in the genres. |

Are you sure? If you have those settings in the present version there is a 'feature of the software' (apparently it's deliberate but nobody seems to be able to explain why to my satisfaction) which will actually still hide non-adult but 'R' or '18' rated (or whatever the highest regular rating is in your locality) titles online. could it be that what you are seeing is the difference between what YOU can see online and other people can see - what is your 'Show in Private Listing' set to and are you logged in when you are doing these viewings? | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | Because different localities define 'Adult' in different ways, the online system will consider as restricted anything with a rating of age 18 or higher. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | I can't get it to hide titles in the online collection, even though I have flagged "Hide in online public listing" the titles still show up in my online collection. What am I doing wrong?
I want to hide my unnumbered childprofiles. |

| Posted: | | | | I've tried both signing out and flagging both "Hide in online public listing" and "Hide in online private listing", but the child profiles keep appearing.
When I'm uploading my collection, it doesn't even show that it's uploading any changes. Do I have to remove them from my collection and adding them again, before they are being hidden? |
