| Posted: | | | | OK, I'm after some recommendations. My tastes are very very wide and I do like a bit of everything, from low budget 'crap', to the classics right through to rom-coms. I like Kurasawa and I like Bay, and origin of the film means nothing to me as long as I enjoy it. As for dislikes, Star Wars and Citizen Kane. Anyway, I'm after some recommendations. |

| Posted: | | | | Always been interested in Road Games and I am slowly picking up the old Vipco releases when I see them cheap so Snowbeast is likely a future pick up eventually (in fact just picked up Island of Death ten minutes ago from CeX for £1).
I own and love Hard Boiled (I have that release pictured... great audio track) and I also own The Ghost Train, albeit the Network screener disc (I have most of Networks stuff from pre-2008 this way and don't include screeners in my collection). Seen Dave Gorman's stuff and find him incredibly funny though Googlewhack isn't as funny as his show where he found over Dave Gorman's IMO.

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Recently rented Taken, Watchmen and The International. Loved Taken, thought Watchmen was overrated but still good and enjoyed The International. I one of those people that doesn't have to have new releases the day they come out. I'm very patient and can wait to pick them up for next to nothing used. As an example, my average so far this year is £1.19 You can see the prices I pay HERE. Death at a Funeral and Vantage Point are both medium priorities on my rental queue already and I'm going to look more at Plots with a View as that looks like it could be good. Flags/Iwo doesn't really interest me but if the price is right, who knows. Thanks! |
