| Posted: | | | | Has anyone had success installing the Database Query plug-in on Windows 7? I have the 64-bit Home Premium version of Windows and find that Database Query always fails during the install. The error message indicates that Database Query is already running (it's not!). I miss this util! |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the quick reply, Jan -- I'm glad to hear it works in W7. Sounds like the only difference is 32-bit instead of 64-bit. I don't think I'm seeing other programs conflict with DBQ. My initial try at installing was with a brand new machine; one of the first apps I installed was DVD Profiler. |

| Posted: | | | | I just tried to install it to see if it was a 32/64 bit problem (I'm running Win7 Pro 64 bit), and it works fine here... | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for giving it a try. Crap, now I'm out of ideas. It's my personal machine, so I have full Admin rights. Nothing strange installed - the machine's only a couple of months old. I get the 'already installed' error with 'OK' and 'Cancel' as choices. Clicking 'OK' just results in a never ending presentation of the error message. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have Windows 7, so I'm not sure what advice I have to offer. But I would check the list of installed programs and see if it's there. If so, uninstall it and try again. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Just checked, I have the same problem on Win7 64 Bit.
EDIT: And found solution: This only seems to occur if DVDProfiler is running during the installation of the PlugIn. Close DVDProfiler and give it a retry. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
