| Posted: | | | | I have adapted the DVD-R logo for use as an icon in custom media types. It has a transparent background so it will blend in with all themes. Click to download: |

Umm....Beta?
(It competed for a brief time with VHS...you can guess who won.....) Indeed it was for Betamax - An alternative to VHS & it was backed by Sony. |

| Posted: | | | | And for completeness' sake: 1) The logo for the third competing video system, Video2000 by Philips, can be downloaded here. 2) The LaserDisc logo can be downloaded here. |

| Posted: | | | | Anyone find anything good for VCD? I burned many VCDs for TV Series I recorded... that I keep until the DVD comes out. So I have a huge load of those. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Dee1959jay (I think I've got your name right now).
I still have one V2000 tape, and I was looking for the logo. I still feel sad that the recorder didn't win from VHS. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. | | | Last edited: by EdwinK |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, technically it was the best of the lot. As I recall, Philips refused porn to be released on V2000, whereas JVC had no objection whatsoever for it to be released on VHS - and that's why the latter won, even though in terms of image quality it was the worst of the three competitors. BTW an alternative LaserDisc logo can be found here. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | Is there a specific or prefered size? I tired 51x51 pixel and it got distorted in DVD Profiler but showed up fine in iOS. |
