Having just received a green for a contribution, it's left me thinking how the hell to do it?

I can't see arrows anywhere and I would like to give people who contribute lengthy/time consuming/difficult contributions a bit of green.

I'm sure it's obvious though.

It is really easy Sam. All you need to do is touch the pieces of paper under the voting tab "No". This will take you to the contribution notes and you can give the contributors a green thank you.

Thanks Kathy. As thought, it's obvious now you mention it.

Would prefer them to be on the voting page though.

Would be much easier with this and I would like to see this included.

I agree... It would be much easier if the option was right on the voting page.

In addition to that I would like the ability to give greenies for received PM's.... as I have definitely got some helpful PM's in the past I would have given a green arrow to.

Ooh didn't know this, thanks Kathy!  It does appear that the Green/Red arrows are only available within the first few days of a new contribution.  There are some contributions that can still be voted on but don't have the arrows when viewing the larger contribution notes.  For example, a contribution by simeonpro ,on 21 Sep 10, for Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue [786936-804065] - Blu-ray & DVD Combo doesn't have the arrows but the a contribution by rusty640 on 25 Sep 10, for the same title, does.

Thanks Addicted2DVD!

hmm, it would be nice if the ability to rate a contribution remained available until the contribution has been approved or declined.  Some contributions may be open for a week or so and I don't always check for new contributions every two days.
