| Posted: | | | | Since upgrading I can no longer update the database. I keep getting the message "Server connection does not allow changes"
Also the iPhone will not turn off parental control. I keep getting wrong password coming up even though I have reset the password several times on the desktop and iPhone.
I am a 52 year old man with adult children, I should not have to go through this crap every time there is an upgrade of the App | | | Last edited: by mick132 |

| Posted: | | | | For the message "the server connection does not allow changes", you should check in DVD Profiler desktop and make sure that you have the sharing set up to allow remote changes. Go into Tools, Options, Sharing, and make sure the "Change Access" section has the "Allow change from remote clients" checked. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

This is the first upgrade of this App, and already you are fed up with it??? Try to be a little more constructive, that will probably motivate Ken and others more than calling it crap... |

Sorry you're having issues, but how is your age or the fact that you have adult children remotely relevant to an iPhone app? er.. parental control? I'm away from home so I can't check the new version.. but it was a known feature of the old version that it must always default to Parental control = on (due to Apple Crap). BUt what I couldn't understand was that users (in the previous version) were always set to be 'allow adult' = ON. Which seems bizarre.. so on one hand you had to have parental controls - but you couldn't set the users to not allow adult. I have no idea if the new version fixes this.. or perhaps it's more Apple crap | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | There is no need to start calling Apple or rhe DVD Profiler app crap I agree that is not very constructive. As with all software there are bugs/issues that have to be resolved I trust(as so should you) that the developers will get this fixed. No need to slam the operating system or software... arn't we better than that? | | | Chris and Carla |
