Just wondering if there is a user field option. I have my DVDs stored in several locations and I want be able to assign a location, I have seen the location input in program but that is very time consuming, also is there a way to select several DVDs and edit a field ie location or user field.

There are several ways to do things "en masse" in DVD Profiler

(1) The menu Collection / Flagged has a number of things that operate on multiple DVDs
(2) The DVD menu has a Copy option. Then you can do Collection / Flagged and Paste into multiple profiles at once. There is an option to overwrite or not, and to select specific fields. For example, you could put a Location value into one profile, then mass copy that value into multiple profiles.
(3) There is a plugin that I wrote, called BulkEdit that gives you a spreadsheet approach to mutiple field editing, for a subset of the most edited types of fields. BulkEdit also adds a few options to the Collection/Flagged menu.
(4) There are a couple of popular tools for editing Cast/Crew information, and you can Copy / Paste Cast / Crew information in DVD Profiler.
(5) The TAG facility is very powerful and useful. Once you begin to use TAGs, you will find that there are a number of things you can do to multiple TAGs at the same time.

There may be a couple of things I left out. Other users may come along and remind us, but those are the main ways I think.
