| Posted: | | | | Depends on where you want this. If you want something like this on your Desktop, the answer would be: It should be doable (it's just HTML after all), but the list and the search field on the left side cannot be build as a HTML-Window.
EDIT: And I'm not sure if the Cast-Photos will work... | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de | | | Last edited: by SH84 |

| Posted: | | | | Hummm, so what are the restrictions of doing layouts ? Is there a good how-to for code morons ? I have a few buddies that owe me big big favors and they are html / web code monkeys maybe I can call in one of the favors to get a sweet layout built -R |

| Posted: | | | | I'm afraid, I don't know a good tutorial in English, but perhaps you should ask your friends for one.
Limitations, well so far I can only think of the list and and the photos as impossible to rebuild in a custom HTML layout, but there may be some more. With a combination of the Profiler-Tags and the informations from the JavaScript variables almost everything else is possible. | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

| Posted: | | | | Hey RobAGD,
In most cases, knowledge of code is not required. The main screen is pretty much like one of those sliding block puzzles with the main difference being that the blocks are resizeable and can be dragged around and dropped where you like. I suggest clicking on Downloads at the top of the screen and then Layouts. See what already made layouts are close to what you might like and then go from there. Knowledge of code would be required if you needed to create a new window. This probably won't be the case. One word of caution: if you kind of like what you now have, save your present layout with a name that's meaningful to you (View/Save Layout...) and then if you really screw things up you can reload it (View/Load Layout...).

P.S. I forgot to mention that when DVD Profiler starts, it opens with the layout as it was when it was shut down. Most programs have some sort of default view that they open with; not the case here. | | | Last edited: by jfrench |
