| Posted: | | | | Just started using the ios version on iPad. I have over 2500 movies in my collection. When I hit the Owned tab the app sits there for a minute or so and then crashes. Maybe some indexes are needed. |

| Posted: | | | | I have over 3K also and mine is working fine. Grasping at straws here but when was the last time you ran the database repair tool on the desktop, if it has been a while you might try running it and after the repair delete the iPad database and resync. I know it sounds like a lot of work but it might just solve your issue. | | | Tom

| Posted: | | | | A database repair would be my first suggestion as well. I only have 1500 profiles, but I never encountered any problems so far.
And if the database repair doesn't help, maybe the upcoming desktop version 3.7.2 fixes the problem for you.
Changes in this build: - Fixed: DVDs marked as returned in iOS sometimes shown as loaned after sync - Fixed: Very large (5000+) collections synchronize slowly or not at all - Fixed: Ratings not shown on repo |

| Posted: | | | | It sounds like most of you started with the Desktop version. I've started My movie collections on the iOS version and all he'll break loose When syncing with the Desktop version, otherwise everything was going ok. At this point I'm wondering if there is anyway to salvage my database on my iPhone! |

| Posted: | | | | Just to be clear: do you mean that your Collection numbers over 5K, or did you mean that there are over 5K children in that boxset. | | | -fred |

Hopefully it isn't that I need to upgrade ios. I have resisted the upgrade because I like the physical switch to lock the screen rotation (who needs mute on an iPad?). I have only been able to actually view my collection once on the iPad. |

| Posted: | | | | I was already on 4.2.1 when I started with the app so I can't really say if that is your issue, according to the specs it should be OK with your IOS, sorry. | | | Tom

| Posted: | | | | My collection is over 9000 profiles, and it works fine with iPhone 3GS (using iOS4). I started with the desktop version, though.
Are you using a desktop that is a build of 1439 or later? Previous builds choked on my collection, but with build 1439 (and presumably the present build 1444, though I haven't yet tested it) it's worked just dandy. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
