| Posted: | | | | I'm assuming, you followed the instructions in the app. Usually the problem is either a firewall or the router settings. Make sure, all firewalls on your PC are set to allow DVD Profiler. Sometimes it helps to delete an entry in the Windows firewall, restart DVD Profiler and then accept incoming connections when prompted by the firewall. Also, check this post. |

Open DVD Profiler on the IPhone. 3. In the main menu in the iPhone, click the arrow button in the top left corner and select Update Collection. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | @SilentBob: Yes, I followed the instruction. And every firewall does allow DVDP. But I am using the Airport Extreme (AE) from Apple as a router. Maybe that's the problem!? And I don't know how to set up the AE like it's explained in your post(link). I set up a fix ip, I do have a WIRELES-STICK, my iPhone is connected via cable... I don't know what else to do... |

Follow this guide to configure a port forward. Just enter the IP and Port shown at the bottom of DVD Profiler for Windows. The guide is a bit out of date and the Airport Utility looks different now. In the current version you can find the settings under "Erweitert" - "Portumleitung". Are you using DVDP on a PC or Mac ? If you are using it on a Mac, are you using a native Windows installation (Boot Camp) or are you running it in a virtual machine ? |

| Posted: | | | | I've went thru the steps, and everything seems to work. I have over 1400 DVD's on my computer, & 1153 on my iPhone. After going thru those steps, it says my collection is updated. But when I go back to look at my collection on my iPhone, it still at 1153 DVD's. The computer even tells me it's overwritten my collection on the iPhone. Everything looks great, except my iPhone isn't showing the update ftom my computer even though it's been overwritten when I uploaded the info. Any suggestions, or am I doing something wrong in order to sync my iPhone with what's on my computer? Thank you for your help!!! |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, I found out wh is going on & why the number of DVD's aren't showing. All of my DVD's are actually on my iPhone. But for some reson, some of them aren't numbered when I look at my online collection. There are a couple of hundred that don't have a collection number by it. Hiw can I assign them a collection number so it will register as an entry? |
